I don't think Latrell's average back when he was like 15 years old or whatever is especially relevant nowadays. And he can potentially replace GK with RM from FB. Great draw in the immediate term, loopable in the longer term. Fantasy scorer favourite. I don't see why he couldn't put up RTS/Holmes like numbers which would be keeper at centre.
He’s a lazy cunt so you won’t be relying on huge RM totals from FB he will dump most carries to his wingers. TBs will be offset from lack of tackles at FB, for me losing his GK is huge, 8 points a game. You think he will get to 45-48?

He might of been young in his fullback days and he’s an immense talent, but he’s stupid lazy sometimes so you can’t rely on big RM totals like you get from Papy and RTS. Same TB average playing CTR or FB. RM average around 90m at CTR so even if you go to 150 a game at FB he’s going to struggle to get beserk

I’m eyeing him and firmly on my list but im tempering my expectations. Fit or fat or not he started the season with a 10 and 14. His floor is loooow

Probably not, doesn't need to. Priced mid 30's, anything 40+ would be fine for a keeper centre.

Wiliame really is a dog's breakfast isn't he ..... $290k so you can't readily upgrade him and if you hang on to him he's got a BE of 22, which he won't hit because he can't tackle and the Dragons are a mess Mad

Look at the scores of those games. Scored 19 vs Panthers (54-10 to Panthers) and 16 vs Tigers ( 46-4 to Tigers) playing wing and centre.

His base is around 30-35 and with Ponga favouring that side I'm just biting the bullet. Worst case in 3 weeks time I trade him out after $100k profit and 100 points across 3 rounds.

Means I have to take Munster instead of Cleary which is a shame.

+1. Have to pick a centre. Got nothing

It's amazing how someone so irrelevant can run a ripple of shit through a team. Brutal week to be running with cheap/shit WFB/CTR options. Hampton, Kennedy and Wiliame all at once. Main issue is they've just left me nowhere to go but a punt on one of these guys cheap who may only play a week.

Would it not be a pointless trade dumping him after 3 rounds. Wasting 2 trades in the CTR?

Keep him in the loop until the inevitable injury happens and a cash cow comes along.

I think I'm going to have to - 'fortunately' I have Capewell, Lomax & Best, to scrape 2 working centres together, so the l**p will come in handy

Just caught up on the last few pages.

Thoughts in Fui v Best. Im not that across the Dragons squad, but it seems Fui's JS is bound by Tariq injury. No way he holds him (or anyone else really) out of the squad when he is back.

Best has had two huge games, he is a big body running off an inform Ponga. He won't score two tries a week all year though. It'll be peaks and troughs for sure but at least we know he will play more games than Fui. Also, i think his Peaks and Troughs are higher than most Ctrs. Which seems such a prick of a position.

There are two reasons you'd be looking at these guys. A Ctr in your 1-13. or Cash cow/looking for money to upgrade elsewhere/cover.

If you're looking to fill a Ctr in your 1-13. Best is the pick of the two (excluding other options like crichton)

If you're looking to raise funds to bring in a cow, and looking at these two as your options i would think that if you can afford the gun you're targeting and have Best, then get Best purely for the fact that he will make as good and probably better money then Fui + longer term cover in a shit position. But, if you need that extra 100k. Fui becomes the definition of a poor mans Best.

Verdict. Best is bester than Fui.

Other talk about is about people dropping pap. I am 100% on board. The  guy doesn't even look like scoring a keeper score in the wfb this year, with Ponga, Teddy and Turbo around. Ditch this bloke.

Also to people saying Paps is as good as Turbo. Dreaming. Turbo is proven, Paps has a handful of promising scores, and was a logical pick at the start of the year, but hasn't done enough to be considered a keeper.

apologies if this has been discussed already but do we think Paix still has a role when Turpin comes back? from what I've heard the broncos have big raps on him so would be a possibility he gets a 20-25 minute bench role like Walters did? tryna decide if I should dump Wiliame for him or hold for a better option down the line

Anyone's guess, probably depends on form from here.

Don't think I'm making any trades this week.
Capewell and Crichton in the centres is fine by me. Latrell is tempting but one game 60+ doesn't mean he'll average 40+ all of a sudden. Good luck to those taking the punt!

Drinkwater can have another round seeing as he's playing the Warriors.
I can cover Mann's injury if he doesn't end up playing. He's still got one good price rise in him (hopefully).

I'm not sure of the answer - but my worry is, he will end up like Walters has now

I was about to say the same thing. Note that in the Panthers game Ponga scored 6, so was clearly broken. Knights are a different team this season, Best is a key part of that success and along with Ponga is the focus of their attack. He is also averaging 20 tackles per game this season.

I can do Guler to Turbo and if Mann out will get Best. Is projected Turbo Ponga Teddy back 3 early such a bad thing? I would have to try get Teddy next week but fearful of monster score vs Dogs
