(due to centres dropping like flies) i have to buy a CTR or WFB this week. Levi + cash doesn't afford me Teddy or Ponga.. but it could get me Tommy T, and hold on to a trade.

I'm thinking of burning the 2nd trade though to go a little cheaper (eg Latrell or similar price ctr), but also bring in Jake T (or similar). Levi + Mann out = Latrell + Jake T in

The way I see it Paix can hold down Mann's spot for a few more weeks and looks like scoring to the same ability anyway, but Jake T is a big upgrade (assuming 55 average or potential to go higher with new rules).

    Any thoughts?

Its basically a case of playing Mann + Paix (looped with Luai/etc), or Paix + Jake Turbo

He has BE of 9. He'll increase basically $1k times what he scores if he plays. Free money. I'm going to have to ditch Pap for Best unless I dump Drinkwater instead but I'll have Turbo and Ponga with trade this week and want to try and get Teddy soon so do I need Pap? Mr Cow wasn't sold on Pap pre season.

Can’t fault it mate. Don’t think jurbo averaging 60 is out of the question with the new rules despite not cracking that mark yet the last 2 weeks haha

Absoloute steal. Hey Mate what are your thoughts on Best v Latrell v Hoppa

All three have their positives and negatives. I'm leaning Latrell, but its a gut feel that may come back to bite me. I want to take the chance at this stage though, YOLO etc. Can't argue with Hoppa, he's consistent at FB.

Best looks great but he'll have his high 20/low 30 scores too.

I'll give myself an uppercut when Latrell makes 3 errors 2 penalties and a score of 18 this week, but I'm buying him as a centre so fuck it.

Hoppa has the historical stats, So does Latrell minus GK can he makes it up? So those 2 you know have the ability to be guns in the CTR. Huge question is can Best maintain

Yeah that’s where bests BE means I get to see if he can maintain the base stats + the occasional try and if it falls apart he still makes 100K for the burnt trade

My other worry for best is injuries as his history is huge

Lol. I mean, everyones doubts around Latrell are fair and valid, and that's why I consider it a punt on him.
I mean worse case with Latrell is he stays where he is, so requires a trade later on. I really don’t think FB role is good for his scoring as CTR and missing GK is a fair amount of points
to make back. He’s got 2 absolute stinkers out the way already, but I look at fantasy differently. If I go the more expensive CTR route and bypass Fotu, I’ll be getting Latrell with tempered expectations

My expectations aren't too big for him either.

He had 10 TBs last week, last time he hit double figures was early in 2018.

I'm still considering a different move. Maybe Best is the way to go..

Even if Mann plays I have to trade in a 2RF or CTR in case Lolo doesn't play. It's not going to be a centre, so tossing up Murray/Matterson/JTurbo. Some more concrete news on Lolo would be great so I can wait a week on a luxury trade

If he survives the cut to 19 at 6pm today, then I'd say he is almost certainly playing. Doubt they'd include him in the 19 when they have to fly to Sydney tomorrow if he's not set to play.

Right now for me, it's Wiliame for Latrell. He's a proven gun with a decent BE. Two games just isn't enough for me with best. I know he's likely to make 100k but geez I'm burning through trades and unless Latrell goes horrible for weeks on end, he's staying in y side.

Latrell got 8pts a game average last season for goal kicks.   He just got near half his points last game in TBs. He's only got 10 TBs or more 3 other times in his career(11 twice)

Yep this an important point. I've just been looking through the stats and I've removed Latrell from my mind, it's now Best vs Hoppa for me.

Any thoughts on if Hoppa is likely to stay at FB ?

I know, but he still has a high ceiling and has the fullback role. Choosing centres is doing my head in. In the end, the Latrell one feels good. That feeling might change rapidly when he gets a 10.

But Latrell with a lowish BE against the Titans this week. He might be up for a gun run.

If you are removing Latrells stats you may as well remove Bests 4 tries, 2 TAs and 9TBs as well mate.

Those considering Latrell (which I have never) should be considering the left centre that is Campbell Graham.

Cody Walker back, good tackler, got the build for 4+ tackle breaks a game, draw of Titans, Warriors, Panthers, Bulldogs, Tigers. Bound to jag a few tries.
