Not at all with Staggs coming back from injury and Boyd with a lifetime guarantee on the other centre position.

SMcintyre only got those minutes last week due to injury you'd think, although hard to know if MCK was there purely for utility value in Madge's original plans.  At 240k almost tempted to have a crack at him as a COWB (Cash Out With Benefits) and hope he gets a month or so of reasonable minutes.  Not to mention he solves my Centre issue this week.

So last week was his first game? Wishing I paid attention to him now.

Was going tradeless but think I'm set on Paix to Talau. Will play him over Crichton too. Gives me bench cover and hopefully Talau good enough to run as a starting centre for the year next to Lomax. Might as well run both Tigers wingers I guess.

    Sounds good mate.

Except the part about, "should be good for the year", that shit is just asking for fantasy God smiting.

I think Pappy will be lucky to get out of single figures this weekend.

Would need to displace either Staggs or Boyd, so no. May get a wing spot if he is lucky.

I'm going Nui or Talua in (via L Mitchall to FB) / Pap out next week. Gives me upgrade from Rudolf to Taumalolo. Every chance Nui or Talua could score as much or more as Pap and you can bank 200- 300K.

I’m resigned to skimping at half 2

Pearce or AReynolds? Form and team slightly favours Pearce but Reynolds has such a consistent record

Hardly noticed him to be honest. Not sure if that's a really good thing or really bad thing. Just not sure where decent minutes come from with a 4 forward bench.

Thought I had worked out my trades for the week, was looking at bringing in both Ponga and SMat by trading out Twal and bringing him back in a few weeks. Just went through spreadsheeting what my final team would look like if I did that and found I was short of the cash I needed to reach a decent final team.

Have had to rethink my trades and now planning to bring in Averillo and SMat this week, Ponga next week, while holding Twal. Gives me the flexibility to look at Best as a trade out at some point for the big cash he offers, especially if he hits another big score in the next few weeks (small upgrade to Teddy in round 11 with a bit of saved cash in 1 trade).

Next few weeks trades would all be Gun/Cow, ending up with this team in round 11 with 5 trades remaining (and a small amount of cash), with a number of decent PODs in the forwards.

    Koro
    Haas Mofo
    Yeo Tevaga Fifita
    Moses Cleary
SMat Averillo (likely looping with other centers)
    Teddy Ponga Mitchell

    Grant Twal Robson Drinkwater
    Wiliame Niu Cheap Cheap

If you haven't been through working out your trades to final team yet, I suggest you try it to see if you need to add more cash generation now to be where you want in a few rounds. Holding off on a gun this week, bought me an extra gun for 10 weeks.

Haha... have you not learnt anything from this TLT, mate? I'd be hesitant to plan ahead to next week with any conviction, let alone to round 11.

For the record, I didn't get hit as hard as a lot of folk here, but the first six weeks have shown this season will be all things unpredictable.

That said, hope your plan works out. I'm not this well organised. Wink
