Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 44 - The Reckoning
Milford was a fullback when he was 21 and fast.
He has bulked up and lost a lot of pace, he needs to adapt his ball playing abilities or be lost to the game as a mediocre half in an under performing team.
I also dont think our game plans suit him, we need to be less structured, I would like to see Croft and Milford floating to both sides of the field and play off one another because our attack is very one dimensional and predictable.

reckon you’re all being a bit harsh of him.
Lone Scout is just an above average player who works at the NRL doing other stuff. It’s not like fantasy is his FT job or that upper realm players are his target audience. He gives standard/safe advice for the average or novice player and plays accordingly himself. His main thought is probably not getting smashed on the socials for bum advice. Hence stuff like “he plays late so be careful about being locked out” stuff which seems not useful to people here but is very useful to most of his readers

So just copy the Eels playbook?

And yet again, no correlation between the initial contact and the concussion outcome.
Hopefully they play him and his random rest comes in a week where I have cover.

I imagine he is some bloke who works in an office for NRL and he won the office league a couple years in a row so they thought, let's get this bloke to answer some questions on FB and viola! we have the Lone Scout.

Cant wait for him to play, to justify my frustration reading all the armchair coach predictions of resting and not passing concussion protocols.

Would be their third game in 12 days... A few of the boys might be feeling the pinch.

Thanks mate but I’m on the Murray train, I have faith in my man! I think they will average the same and he’s 9k cheaper.Camo123 wrote:
I'd be picking Jurbo over Murray, having guarantee of 80 mins at lock would be better than potential attacking stats for me
You could also loop Niu/Hammer with Magoulias but you'd have to be able to login between games quickly as Cowboys game and Broncos game happen consecutively (probably 20 min break in between)

Pretty sure the NRL no longer has "offices" or "staff"...

I've long defended Milford. He has been much better over the years than he gets credit for. He's been pushed into a halfback role that didn't suit him, had to cover multiple positions at once. At the back end of 2018 (?) he was going really well as the organising half, his kicking game has developed a hell of a long way.
I don't know what the problem is now. I don't htink its fitness, seems to be mindset. I think his head is overloaded but I just don't know what will get him to click. IMO he should get dropped, at least for a game or two. Its a shame there's no Q CUP. I'm not defending his performances this season, and I'm probably of the mind that hte Broncos should look to move him on.
Watch this though. This was posted in 2016, he has an incredible amount of highlights for the broncos

With trades a premium this year I think I might try and hold Katoa and Twal. The best I could really do this week was to bring in MoFo and Talau and I can do that by ditching Paix and Turbo. At the very worst it gives me a bit of a better look around the injured blokes.

He is half the player he was the Raiders.
I reckon of all the players the Raiders have lost, Dugan, Fergo, Milford, and to a much much lesser extent, Earl, Lee, Lee and BJ. They have done well, Fergo is the only one who continually looks good playing in another team.
Obviously filthy on the Teddy backflip. Although, i know that he only went to Raiders because the Tigers weren't going to sign him. From what ive heard, Farah asked him why he was leaving and when he found out the Tigers weren't speaking to him, he had words with the coach and with in a few days he had an offer.

Oh well I would be down to 16 if that happens.my tv broke wrote:https://www.titans.com.au/news/2020/06/24/moeaki-fotuaika-media-conference/
Mofo press conference - says his knee swelled up after the game last week, says "I gotta monitor through out this week and hopefully it will be good by game day"
Sounds like he'll be all good.
Defs no second thoughts on holding Katoa now as I could be down to 15 if MoFo is out
