I’m definitely spending too much time looking for a cheap 2rf.

Better than spending $$$ on a low minute hooker

Is there any point getting both Talau and Niu if I already have Lomax, Mitchell, and holding Wiliame? Don't really want to have 3 centres in my emgs. It's a one or the other situation right?

Currently I can field 17 so the only trade is Turbo -> Jurbo.

Depending on what happens next week I can either go Paix + Katoa -> Taupau + Niu or Luai + Katoa -> Taupau + Talau.

Just trying to save 1 trade over these two weeks, so I could jump the gun this week and go Paix to Niu and have enough cash to straight swap Katoa -> Taupau next week. Likewise Luai -> Talau.

Luai -> Talau might be worth doing this week given their likely price rises and would leave me with a bank of $200k.

Would sell Katoa this week but reluctant, just in case there's news he's back early and Pap fails again, then he's the one to go.

I've gone katoa to croft as my 2nd trade. He's 476k, price that low partially due to a low min game and the broncos have a soft draw coming up so I'm expecting him to be the one to lead them out of the rut. Feel like doing something different so my mind is basically made up.. but if I get cold feet I can always shuffle the deck and get Niu instead.

Anyone else going a bold trade in this round?

I don’t think this is the season for bold trades.

When you have to option to grab a captaincy tier player it's hard to say no. Pick your poison with Cook/Smith, they should both end around a 65 average

Yeah that's where my thinking is at the moment. Cook seems slightly more boom/bust, Smith seems to get more or less exactly 65 every week. Maybe I'll flip a coin.

Considering Flanagan just for something different. Roosters on a roll and can't afford Cleary. Don't know if it's worth trading Luai out for though but this week might be the one to make hay while others struggle

Edit: Can get Cleary/DCE if I trade Drinky instead but I have been looking at him as an ideal benchie long term

Be really surprised if it actually happens. I assume there can't be contested scrums, so I can't see how a RL team doesn't win easily.
