Could a RL team just park a few players back (like wingers dropping back late in the set) and trust their remaining 10 or so players to defend? Not commit to rucks (if there's rucks) and just back their defense to number up and wait for errors?

Means kicks from inside the 22 would be hard to defend, but otherwise could work.

Will happily admit not an expert on union, just think a hybrid game would remove any technical/forward advantage through necessity and speculating that an emphasis on athleticism and workrate favours the version of rugby where the forwards more closely resemble backs.
I think ruck rules will be too technical for league players to pick them up easily. Would need to be more league style.

As a non-owner, happy for him to get 39-40 every week. Prices him around $513k value this season.

With Teddy out, which who would you buy out of Mitchell or Nofo? Already have both Teddy and Ponga

Definitely not. Katoa to Talau locked in. Trading out Paix and it must be either a CTR or WFB and can spend 789k

If teddy is out, ill have 17 green dots. But im only counting 15 of them. because i don't want to have to be playing Clune, Keppie, Chricton avarillo and drinkwater combined i think they are only worth two players scores

If Teddy is indeed out, there are going be a lot of people playing 16 and quite a few 15s.

We'll probably never know, but interested if he actually could pass the protocol or not. Like is this a mandatory or optional week off?

I am just imagining the last round carnage when most of the top team's star players are rested in round 20 and we all struggle to field 12 players.
