Why do I feel like Drinkwaters HLF/WFB dpp will be needed later in the year.

Cook
Haas Carrigan
Matterson Murray Leilua
DCE Mann
Talau Crichton
Teddy Pongy Pappy
Koro Grant Robson Young
Herbie HTF Niu Wiliame
183k
Young to upgrade, a slightly better CTR and maybe Mann/Leilua too then you're done.

I'm finding I am having plenty of WFBs and CTRs (pretty interchangeable in my team) running in NPR. Happy to upgrade to having Moses/Cleary/Flanagan as my halves, with one of them playing in 14-17 each week.Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:Why do I feel like Drinkwaters HLF/WFB dpp will be needed later in the year.

Leaves me with this team:
Grant
Haas Mofo
Yeo Hess Carrigan
Cleary Flanagan
SMat Wiliame (loop)
Teddy Ponga Mitchell
Koro Robson Moses Kerr
Niu Crichton Sironen HTF
Pretty happy with my 17, just need 1 more upgrade for Kerr, 10 trades remaining.
I know you play the game flat out mate, I don't hate it, I have similar trash in my nprs, but Wiliame, Niu, Sironen, HTF, is exceptionally thin coverage especially while trying to cover Moses. We've seen the last couple of weeks how easy it is to have outs. If everyone keeps their role and stays healthy it looks solid AF, but very risky.

Currently thinking ill only use 2 trades still this week. RTS out changes my original plan. Think I'm sold on Young.
Moses to DCE
Drinkwater to Young
Could do Paix to Niu as a third trade but not sure its worth it. Still need to save some despite the two extra.
Then next week will be a decision on whether to bring in teddy or stick with RTS

Even if Warriors are competitive, they seem to give away good fantasy points. Would most likely score well against them

Looks pretty high risk high reward. Niu and Crichton good for 30 odd, HTF needs tries and Sironen is a dead spot. Few outs and it could be big trouble

Yeah I am just thinking, if I am going to rank highly this season, I need some luck to start going my way. I think most have a pretty thin 18-21. I would rather it was there than in my 17, which I think is pretty solid. Maybe we get a late season bonus cow that is a great buy, would give me the balance I would ideally like.Mulvy wrote:

Played extra minutes in the centres last week. Seems to have jumped Sorensen in the pecking order but still well behind Hamlin-Uele, Woods, Williams, Rudolf, Fifita. Not a cow, not a keeper I'd give him a miss

I would add HTF could be a dead spot as Soon as this Saturday.

Api
Haas, JTB
Matterson, Murray, Luci
Moses, Cleary
Best, Mitchell
Teddy, Ponga, Pap
Grant, Carrigan, Fogarty
HTB, Rudolf, Paix, Crichton
Looking at going
Moses - Pearce
Luci - Taumalolo
Rudolf - Niu
Leaves me with 12 trades and 84k
Might swing JTB to Young via Carrigan but I'd be left with no prop cover. If I hold off on that, probably punt Crichton/HTB to turn JTB into Taupau in a week or two

Yeah we're on the same page there. The team I posted shortly before yours focuses on getting the money into the 17. And yeah hopefully a cheap 18th man pops up, preferably a half in my case.

Looking at options to dump Williame to. Nothing about really is there. Minus Niu who I’m already bringing inmultiple.scoregasms wrote:

Yeah would be disappointing, specifically chose him due to having best job security at the time out of Averillo, Coates, Herbie (Talau was out that week unfortunately)Mulvy wrote:

Over Taupau?
He averages more, so yes.
I mean it isn't beyond possibility Taupau will end up higher, but I was just picked the player I thought would do it.

Walker still 5/6 weeks away? Croker would only need 1 big game to get cash moving, although he is a renowned fantasy shithouse and injury worry

He's just fantasy pus mate. Last week his 29 included a try save. His best ever score of 41 included two tries. Hard pass.

Teams are turning out differen after allt. After next week's planned Rudolf to Taupau trade I'll be fairly happy with 16 out of my 17 and have only six players who are the same as yours (plus three of your NPRs, although HTF goes if someone better turns up. 12 trades left)

Not sure that Sironen is a dead spot. Checked Souths injury list and no-one due back. He is getting minutes in the middle and at the end of last game came back on for Sua for a 2nd stint. He could be an injury away from a starting 2RF spot and has a really low BE after last week.multiple.scoregasms wrote:
