Going to be a hectic last 12 minutes when SBW gets a run.

SBW is another level of offloader, will have far more of them than anyone else at Roostersrhinoceroo wrote:

The problem is there's no light at the end of the tunnel for them, nothing to make anyone think their fortune is going to change. Whoever gets the coaching gig is going to have a massive challenge on their hands. The bronco's management really underestimated the value that experience brings when they push out the older players. It's boys vs men out there now sadly.

Its really been a perfect storm of things going wrong. Injuries. Suspensions. Poor recruitment decisions. Poor contracts going back 3 years. Poor coaching. Experienced players just phoning it in. gilletts broken neck. Young players not kicking on. The list goes on.
At this point there are probably 7 or 8 players that are worth keeping in the roster, but obviously you just cant turn it over that quickly.
Its actually fascinating.

Oh don't get me wrong, I feel sorry for some of the Broncos players (Haas, Carrigan, Dearden, Fifita, Staggs, Farnworth etc.), some of them have been trying their absolute guts out. Those guys deserve better than the reserve grade teammates that they've got.
My hate of the Broncos is mostly reserved for the fans and the media hyping them up for years on end.

The thing is, all clubs have those same issues to deal with. That all points to poor management decisions from CEO through to the board and coach. The player attitude/behaviour is a flow on from that.

Oh i agree 100%. Board/management are responsible for where the club are right now.
Anyway, enough about the Broncos from me.

I don’t hate them or wish ill upon them but Im sure nobody felt bad for us when we got the spoon 2 years ago or back to back spoons in 14-15 so now it’s the Broncos turn to suffer. Their players(not a lot of the current team) and fans alike have enjoyed a fair level of consistency over the last decade or so so now it’s time to suck it up. Swallow your pride and just take it

I do because I've hated the Broncos for as long as I've been watching league, and every depth they sink to is nourishment for my soul.
It's similar to how I think a lot of people see the Storm, and if we were to have a year like the Broncos have had, then I would think many people would share my outlook on it

I was going to comment on a previous page that no one knows what Broncos fans are going through more than an Eels fan.
Very likely this year's just a once-off for the Broncos, though... Eels fans probably have another 34 years of suffering to go.

In fairness to Darius he was halfway through telling a Knock Knock joke to the Touchie when he was caught unawares by a football game.
