I find it somewhat fitting that I have to use my last trade on a centre this year.

Cook
Haas, Taupau
Jurbo, Lucy, Young
Cleary, Pearce
Ramien, Pompey
Teddy, Ponga, HTF
Bironen, Randall, Starling, JFH
Jazz, Fui, RTS, Hunt
Trading out RTS + Hunt gives me 1.43m. I guess HTF is the weakest link, so could bring Pappy back in for him. Not sure who the next upgrade should be for honestly. JFH has been pretty up and down, as has Hudson Young.
Second trade in could be Moses or Tohu (though I don't rate his ceiling).
Nofo instead of Pap allows me to get Lolo/Grant/Api/Matto. Does that sound better to you guys?
Any other options you'd be looking at?
I wouldn't go Nofo mate as he had a poor week last week and probably would still be in some doubt getting a knock late in the game last week.
I like the To'o shout myself too.

There is, but its quiet enough in this one now that I reckon you can get away with it

Just wondering how it might look if I wanted to loop my bench and also my Ctr.
My set up looks like this:
I was wondering if I can loop HTF and bring in JWal if he fails, while also looping Talau and Avo using Fui (granted he could be a late in) and bring Talau into my Ctr if Avo plays poorly. Is this set up correct for this?

Looks spot on mate.
I'm so wary of relying on Fui as a red dot but being number 21, you would think he would drop off before the Tigers game.

Yea I will only be doing this should I get some clarity on the Drags squad otherwise will just lock one of them in. Couldnt bare to cop a 5 from Fui coz I was playing with loops lol

I am so disappointed at how this year has ended
Who would've thought having 6 players for 2RF depth (Twal, Fifita, Matterson, Bateman, Lucy, Tino) has resulted in me only fielding 2 2RF's in the last game

Won't you have Twal, Matto and Lucy?

Hey all,
As a non-active poster but an avid reader on this site I thought I would take the opportunity as the season comes to a horrid end (not sure I expected any better) to thank everyone that regularly contributes and everyone that is happy to help out. This is an awesome community keep up the good work & good luck if you were lucky enough to make it through to your final

H2H final looks like this:
Them: Cook, Matterson, Murray, Farnworth, Pap, Haas
Me: CM9, Mofo, Fog, Jurbo, Siro, Lomax, Peachey
Think I'll have a man advantage unless they have trades left. Still feel like the underdog without Haas, Cook, Pap though.
How would you rate that matchup? Do I need to punt on someone like Teddy as captain, or play it safe with CM9?

Sorry should'v eactually said 7, forgot Carrigan.
Unfortunately Twal is taking up a FRF position, as is Carrigan. They were just their for extra depth and the ability to move down if I needed
Team was laid out like:
Twal, Carrigan
Matto, Bateman, Fifita
Bench: Tino, Lucy.

Well spoken! Without the help around here, I would still be picking guys like Jesse Bromwich (After he was good), JWH and Darius Boyd... Just because I knew their names. Unless a miracle happens Chewie has the L6 GF in the bag!
Hope everyone comes back next year and it isn't as interrupted as this year!

Ouch
There's a few hard luck stories going around for the last few weeks, but that is up there with the toughest of them. Hope you can still put up a decent score

Think I might captain Carrigan this week. Hope he gets the 80 minutes and falls over for a try.
Was also thinking of DCE as that is the other game experimenting with these rule changes and I think he could benefit with more ball in hand!

@Mulvy, you got any trades left? Sussing out the L11 battle - first time looking at H2H all year. We actually have 9/16 players different at the moment, which seems a lot.

I've landed on DCE for this reason. Scrums are a great opportunity for forwards to rest while on the field, so less of them can only be good for the smaller players. More ball in hand should mean more kick metres and chance for attacking stats

I needed to use my final 2 trades last week to field 17.
I traded out Mann and Papenhuyzen for Bateman and Turbo, for a combined total of 38.
I lost my cash league h2h by 2 and my L2 h2h by 8.
Now they are both out this week, along with Hunt.
Fortunately I can just field 17 this week, provided there are no late changes.

Yep! Plus each team will want to finish with a win so there is at least something to play for. RTS is huge for team morale as well so I expect a little fall in performance.
Will toss it up all week but DCE is slowly gaining ground on Carrigan.
