I think people who are locking in the Panthers for a win are underestimating the Robbo/Roosters/Finals combo. Watch Luke Keary and Boyd Cordner use their finals experience to put on a show.

It was a good sign to see both Sivo and Fergo bag a try last round. If the edges can find some form Parra has a chance

From the way I see it there are only a few low priced options with a reasonable return that you could fit in the team so you can fit some guns under the cap.

Lussick: priced at 23pnts, score potential 40-50
Bsiro: priced at 35pnts, score potential 40-50
Tracey: priced at 29pnts, score potential 35-50

I somewhat agree. I think Roosters will win in a tight one.

I agree on Tracey and Lussick; idk if Siro is a 40-50 player, that seems very generous. The other way is picking a cheap WFB/CTR and hope they go big.

I think I'm the only person I've seen so far picking Tracey.

Storm in an almost identical position to when they won it in 2017?

That's the thing. Paying for a premium hooker pays off if Lussick completely fails. If he gets 40-50 points you've spent an extra 300-500K for not that many more points. It will hurt if you don't go with him and he gets solid points. If he fails, at least you haven't overpaid and you have guns in other areas. Plus most seem to be going with him.

Going Cook or Smith and Lussick getting 50 basically takes you almost out of the game. Going a premium hooker and Lussick fails does get you on the front foot but not as much as it would seem as one of your guns is already out and one less gun in another area.
