Didn't have either Cook or Cleary and still sitting in 10th. Everyone except for Rapana scoring 40+ for great consistency.

Somewhat related, Ben Cummins cannot ref another finals this year. He was shocking with his decisions and at huge times for big games. When the game is closer he has the potential to ruin games.

Consistency is key. I had great results bar a Naden 7, a Sivo 2, and a (comparitive to price) Ponga 26. A few bad eggs can ruin a side for sure!

Super happy with 750 points and 13th for the first round.
Team analysis:
Starling: Not bad given he was cheap but Lussick ended up being the clear better option
Papalii: Pretty much a par score for him
Liu: Great score especially given his price, perfect POD
Matterson: Slightly below his best but still good
Nikora: Terrible score, his worst for the season and only sub 70 minute game
Bateman: Bit below par but still decent
Tracey: Good enough for his price but had hoped for him to break 40
Cleary(c): 2nd best score of the round, 0 complaints
Crocker: Cheap and ended up with a great score
Lee: Took a punt guessing he would score and it came off
Vunivalu: Likewise as Lee was pretty confident he would score against eels
Allan: Cheap 80 minute FB scored a little above expectation
Pap: Continued his good run of form with a strong score
Glad I stuck with my gut feels and didn't rip up my team to get in Rapana. Bit of shame with Nikora; straight swap from him to Tapine puts me in 1st.

Sitting an even 50th. I don't think I made too many bad calls tbh (apart from Blake) - just didn't get much luck on line calls - Ponga vs Pap, Munster vs Williams, Ramien vs Croker, Cotric vs Suli etc.
Also, spending low on centre doesn't really pay off when your guns score 50s, not 70s.

The highest average players available this week are Cook, Teddy and Crichton so Cook does look like obvious choice but again you do have to factor in value players that might be availablerobelgordo wrote:
