That 80 would have me at 802 and right in it.
But depending on your leftover cash that’s an extra 180k which would have affected other picks

As said by others, everyone would have had ‘what if’ picks

Yep. I swapped GWilliams out for the Chad to afford Allan to Brenko and Tatola to Rudolph. That cost me an 830 odd. But I also made Cleary Captain last minute over RyPap and swapped Yeo out for Tapine. So I am around where I would have been.

With a score of 726 I did not expect to be ranked so high (24th). 77 points behind first... I guess there is still a chance.

The NRL integrity unit got to him?

I wouldn't worry too much, SI is more than able to run the comp without MTB's help

Funny thing is I am actually a little concerned about MTB now after trying to log on to the platform.  We have a joint portal with the same password so we can both make changes and bug fixes during games on the fly, but my password isn't working now.  Fiona may indeed be interrogating the poor bloke as we speak.

Either that or his PC monitor has also broken now.  Bloke can't take a trick when it comes to digital viewing devices.

Trying to think of some must-haves for the matchups this week and I have come up with this list (somewhat in order):

    Cook
    N.Brown
    Wighton
    Roosters Lock (Liu/Crichton)
    Murray
    Walker

I think it best to fill up on these players and try and find some supporting cast around them.

Have you decided on whether it's 8 players or sticking with 13 players

I was thinking 8 but i see theres been some discussion.. im happy either way, keeping it at 13 is actually less work for me to get it ready for week 2.. would we need to revise the cap a little given there is only 4 teams and therefore less "guns" ?

Just had a quick look and (pending injuries/teams) there should be 8 players valued over 700k this week, compared to 12 last week. The only 'top' guns missing will be Ponga, Koro, Smith, and Cleary. The bigger impact is in the 600-700k range where there are 12 players this week compared to 29 last week. I guess also no Cleary/Haas/CM9 type taking up a huge chunk of the cap makes a difference too.

Do with this info what you will.

If it’s easier for you to keep it at 13, I say do that. Already way above and beyond with this.

Cap revision is interesting, maybe it should be less with the fewer player pool? 7m this week and 6.5m in the GF. No idea really. That could be too extreme?

The average price of who I expect to be starters this week including injuries (Friend back, Sivo out) is around 520k

Problem is with reducing salary, Cleary will be back next week increasing average salary

Just go with what is easiest for you MTB

Yes MTB keep it at 13 players because that involves less work for you so you can sit back, have an ice cream & relax.
