A month ago I would of said that but Souths are a much better unit now, in form & are clicking. I still think the Panthers will win but I feel it will be close. One weakness Souths have is the defense of C. Graham which has been pretty average recently so I can see the Panthers hitting the Souths right edge quite a bit.

Not on what I’ve heard, many are saying Panthers comfortably and that the Raiders game will be closer.Ram it in my Haas wrote:
Haven't heard one person say Souffs are no chance.... in fact most nrl analysts are giving souffs a great chance to win this week

To me its not ur typical picking a winner situation, if u have watched the Nrl all year and ur able to do that with an unbiased opinion, the Panthers are lengths ahead of the Bunnies. Not bashing, or hating, just what I am seeing. Everyone has a chance in a h2h contest, obviously, but as things are the Panthers will put the whip away at the furlong mark.
Lol we won by 14 mate, second half we blitzed you guys.Chewie wrote:Souths were lucky to get past the Eels... no way they are going to win against the Panthers

I've seen teams in prior years who have had the week off come out & take 10-20 mins to blow out the cobwebs before they get into the game. This is the challenge for both the Panthers & the Storm because if you're not mentally switched on from the start of the game you will lose the momentum.

I think the week off will mess with their momentum, they've lost one of their biggest attacking weapons on the edge, they're the heavy favourites with an inexperienced side and they're coming up against a side with;
- A 7 time premiership winning coach
- Premiership winning players
- The form spine in the comp
- Nearly 150 points to their name in the past 3 weeks
- A number of players who are burning from losing the last two prelims
- A home ground advantage
Put those things together with the cockiness of the Panthers players and supporters and I think we've got a win on our hands.
What happens in the Grand Final, well who knows. All I know is from here on out, we're underdogs.
