What is Moylans timeframe?I am tossing up between him and Tex Hoy because Moylan has historically been a bad scorer while Ted Hoy could score in the 40s for five weeks

I dunno. I dont really have a problem with this. Its minor. More of a problem for panthers "culture" if someone is partying the night before GF and not focussed on the job, and they can deal with it as they see fit imo.

He also broke the bubble in doing so.

Proctor got 4 weeks and $20k fine without the bubble issues, Bromwich got 2 weeks.

They need to take the penalties out of the hands of the clubs and have consistency in penalties through a centralised system. If you get caught doing drugs, automatic x weeks suspension.

Cleary got 2 weeks just for breaking the bubble, in the offseason! No drugs involved, not the night before a grand final. Definitely no consistency in how players are penalised.

He did get a suspension: (and a $5k fine for breaching bubble protocols)

Under new rules enforced by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Naden faced a reduced suspension of one month, which the NRL says he has already served.

Naden, however, booked himself into rehab and was handed a four-week ban - all of which could be served over the off-season.

Ban in the offseason = 0 game suspension. Why it is a total joke. When has NRL ever given a 4 week offseason suspension to a player not playing international games or origin?

A 4 week suspension to start the season would have been appropriate.

You wanted a centralised neutral system (not in the hands of clubs) - they do that, it's called WADA
The suspension is applied immediately and irrespective of whether there is a competition on.

It's consistent with WADA suspension protocols - the guys done himself and his team-mates a disservice (aside from the fine, likely affects his value/prospects at this point in time)... move on?

Did he use coke the night before GF or buy it the night before? I assumed he bought it for partying afterwards.  Just a thought,  makes no difference to the suspension discussion.

I'm seriously considering avoiding all players with ongoing hamstring issues. They never seem to get over them and are always reinjuring themselves. Would mean not having Turbo either.

Not currently in my team. Have Cleary and Lam with Averillo as last minute backup if needed. Just replaced Turbo with Teddy.

And yet Fifita with 0.01% of his ligaments is fine?

Panthers forum reporting Dogs still trying to get Burton released. Doesn’t sound like they have a great deal of confidence in Averillo at 5/8. On the previous issue, how long does Coke stay in your system? Obviously it is illegal but does it have any performance enhancing effect? I missed the GF but didn’t May play in his spot?

I so do not want to play Moylan, but at 18-21 is he too expensive? The issue of not having him in your side is that if he doesn’t break, somehow, he’ll go straight to FB when SJ returns.

As far as the damaged valued players go I’m already risking it with Bird and Turbo, so not sure I can risk Moylan and Liddle etc.
