First of my many drafts I've done without Smith.

Fourth reserve TBD, but for this team to work I need three 130k 2rfs who are actually going to play and make money, and that'll be clearer in a few weeks.

Woods + JFriend = 905k = Ah Mau + Smith. Which works best?

I always start the season with smith, makes captains choice easy.
Trying to get smith into a team is headache in terms of trades and cash required.

After watching cartwright in the 9s, is he worthy of a fantasy call up?

Other than Random, most people here already had him in their teams before the 9s.

Probably it was random.

There are a few concerns about minutes with Merrin joining the back row rotation. I think he is good enough to get the have time he needs to be useful at fantasy.

yeah true... Just want the best starting team I can have... I think im there now... Just have to wait on trial games and to see what cheapies get named.

Made a few minor changes to my team based on what I've seen in the 9s - mainly bringing Parcell in (with the injuries to Hodges and Buhrer) and bringing back Paasi.

Inglis Mansour Gutherson (134k 134k)... 46k left.

- Feel naked without Smith, but went with Parcell due to hype. What's the expect TOG for this guy? I rate Korosaiu. I can always put Smith in and drop Parker for a ~200k 2rf.
- Was thinking Surgess might need a little time to get going, so starting with JGraham. Pretty happy to start Lawrence at his price
- Opted for Parker. Went Graham/Sue over Harris/Guerra in the end. Thinking Graham can perhaps push into the 55+ level, while the other 2 might not get 50ppg (they are capable). Sue presents good value, hoping he can perform a role until rd15 or perhaps 18 (would love 40-45 solid average).
- Pretty much locked the halves.
- Took Ferguson out for Hurrell. Didn't watch much nines, but the drop in weight from Hurrell is most encouraging, and his price is great.
- Mansour and Ferguson will fight it out. GI is the most underpriced premium back imo.

Can you give me some evidence of this? It says he is on one predicted rd 1 teams article, but nowhere else.

Unfortunately i didnt get to see much of the 9s. Whats the go with Hurrell? No good? Alot of people have him in their teams but he might struggle to make the team. Warriors have a few options there

This team could go large if carty and taukeiaho fire. Fergo is a good option at ctr if hurrell is a no show

Are people running Granville in the hope there is no bench hooker? Or is everyone who has him running with him regardless? Likely tries are base stats for him so not unreasonable to think he will match his 10 try? 2015 season? I just don't think without playing the 80 he can improve on his 2015 avg

- I am doubtful Granville gets 80 minutes, if he does he is a good option.
- McQueen averaged 67 minutes last season, I don't see his minutes or his scores improving. With guys like Rochow, Tapine, Whitehead I think there are better alternatives.


Other than that you have a really good team overall. Especially considering you have Smith, Fifita and Parker in the team.
