Yes McQueen did play 67 minutes but his average was only 3 less than Rochow who played 80. Also when you consider last year McQueen was basically used as a dummy runner by Souths I doubt this will happen this year so should see more attacking opportunities. This year I expect McQueen to play 80 & do plenty of defense which should push his score to 40-45 which I'll be happy with. There's a rumour that Junior Paulo & Tapine have reportedly signed with the Raiders. This was posted on weapons so if true that rules Tapine out as Brown has told him he'll play reserve grade if he signed. Whitehead definitely won't play 80 & will be lucky to play over 40 minutes. So imo McQueen will outscore Rochow, Tapine & Whitehead.

I really don't see Granville as an 80min player, people are just basing it on him saying he would like to be one. RD 15 and 16 2014 he played 58 and 65 mins for scores of 61 and 63. Other than those the most minutes he played that year was 20.Bren wrote:

I belong to renegades fantasy sports facebook group (this is not to be confused with the other renegade wanker facebook group haha) & they've projected Granville to score 46 points & play 55 minutes. If he's on your bench then a score over 40 is acceptable.

Not for an all important hooker spot imo. Whilst the 40 odd avg is nice, I agree again, think there is more potential value elsewhere and without 80 I don't think Granville offers enough points growthKrump wrote:

That's the risk you take with players who score bulk attacking points, I didn't have Seggy last year and was laughing at the 60min point of heaps of games only for him to bust out a 30 point run and have me crying.Bren wrote:

I've had teams with all of them. Peats probably won't make an appearance until the byes but Lichaa has been in more of my drafts than any hooker except Smith.Bren wrote:

Renegades Fanatsy Sports and NRL Fantasy Renegades are the same people.
The projections are basically just the guesses of a couple guys thre. I don't believe they have any great insider club knowledge about team lineups.
And Granville is priced at an average of 42.4, so if he averages 46 its not a massive step up. You would want to make sure the extra cash is spent wisely if you are downgrading your 2nd hooker to him

- I love Granville, but as mentioned unless he is getting more minutes there are better options than him.
- Paasi while impressive in the 9s has too much to compete with. He does score alright when playing 80 minutes but with the Titans pack he will most likely start from the bench.
- Mannering is a nice POD and probably not considered enough.
- McQueen again in a stacked Titans pack, he also has shown not to score well when playing 80 minutes. Oh and the talk about him moving to Center make him a risk as if there is an injury he most likely moves back there.
- Macdonald is a winger, there are only 2 wingers out of 32 that are actual options. Especially considering you have guys like Gordon/Slater/Holmes around that price range and Hurrell if you want to swap Ferguson to FB.
