    Team Parcell

    parker(vc), surgess, cartwright, aubbs(r), clawerence(r), 130k
    dce, roberts, hastings(r), taylor
    hurrell, copley, auva'a, 134k ctr/2rf
    gordon, slater, mann, gutherson, feeney

    Team Where Is Smith?
    segeyaro, lichaa(r)
    woods, stockwell(or grant), evans(r), 130k
    parker(c), sst, cartwright(or ah mau), mcqueen(r), clawerence(r), 130k
    dce, hastings, taylor, jniko
    lafai, copley, auva'a, 134k ctr/2rf
    ferguson, gordon, mann, gutherson, feeney

In both sides, I've tried to avoid much hyped players such as Rochow(took mcqueen cuz I'm a titans supporter :S), Passi, Sue, and the like. Copley is only there in case Auva'a doesn't make the team. two different approaches. What do you think?

I really like your second team, it looks well balanced and potentially some very good cash cows.

I'd probably go Stockwell over Grant as I think his value will increase quicker than Grant's, well atleast until Tariq comes back and Korbin goes back into the front row. One issue I can see in the FRF is lack of a DPP but you can make your 130k NPR one.

2RF is good, if Carty cements a starting spot I prefer him over LAM however LAM will be more consistent and you miss out on his DPP. Same with McQueen, if he stars and plays 80mins in the 2nd row he could be a good POD.

Lawrence is a good choice for the centres, should post consistent 30-40 every week only downside is he's a bit injury prone. Put Henry in your centres so you can swap the two around when needed.

Lafai isn't in many sides so could be good POD if he can get back to his 2014 form.

Your WFB's look solid although I'm not sure about Mann. He looked good in the charity shield but I dont see him making much money, he's more of a safe fb rather than a metre eating, tackle busting, try scoring one, I could be wrong and time will telll.

All in all a solid looking side with potentially 4 very good scoring reserves as well which many sides dont have.

    Couple of comments/criticisms:

    - why on earth is Mann a fixture in both sides? That bothers me from the perspective that there's no way he's good enough to be an "in every iteration" player
    - you have one half in both sides. Not excusable. There's cash cows, then there's being too light on quality
    - stockwell a fixture in both options... At best he is an interesting questionable for either. He is an add on to a better prop or set of players, not a base player. If he's your number one prop in thinking, you're in trouble

Hey guys. I appreciate all the comments and concerns about both potential teams. Kurt Mann may not be the best option, but he is only there unless Barba gets the full time fb gig.

Having Chris Lawerence in the centres I've tested, but that means I'm looking at Passi as one of my 17. Until we know position and minutes, he's out.

Front row forwards. Basically, I'm searching for value in that position. I would say I'm not to keen on anyone I've put there, and I've been looking at players like ah mau and vaughn and the like.

I've considered Granville in my second side, as I feel if he can get th minutes, he's of more value than Lichaa.

Lastly, what would you guys suggest I do with my halves, both teams.

One other thing. D. Alvaro. Any chance of him making the Eels 17, or is he more of any injury replacement?

Alvaro may not make the 17 every week, it could be an ongoing source of frustration for you and not worth the hassle.

    Current team draft:

    HOK: Smith, Parcell
FRF: J Graham, M Cooper, Peteru, A Kaufusi
2RF: S Burgess, Fensom, B Thompson, Cartwright, J Edwards, Chee Kam
    HLF: Cherry-Evans, Hastings, A Taylor, J Nikorima
    CTR: Jennings, Auvu'a, Copley, Henry
WFB: Moylan, M Gordon, B Barba, Gutherson, Feeney

    $23k left

16th and 17th men are flexible depending on TLT. Having Parcell does free up cash for other positions. Can live with him getting 40 mins or so to start with but if he turns into a 10 min man, major changes would be needed.

I too would love to have Granville but that annoying kostjason character puts me off.

I recommend going with one gun up front, but because Grant is such good value as your second prop, I would go with Woods. Maybe move Surgess into your front row if the likes of Fifita/Gallen are out of price range.

For second half Mitch Cornish should score solid for reasonably cheap. If you can afford a bit more than Hodkinson and Morgan both below gun price, but have a gun score in them

I will be around today to put some predicted scores over some teams, a fair few teams running heavy mid rangers i have seen have got big high end scores, but the risk lies in so many producing those higher end predicitons

Alright until TLT drops the line-ups for Round 1 I've pretty much settled on two different teams, very much dependent on a few player selections and would like some feedback on both of them.

Team "No bench hooker at the Raiders"

    HOK: Hodgson, Parcell
FRF: Graham, Fifita, B Lawrence, LAM
2RF: Surgess, Cartwright, Merrin, Frei, Henry, Crichton
HLF: DCE and the 3 cows.
    CTR: Aubusson, C Lawrence/Hurrell, Auva'a, Gutherson
WFB: Slater, Gordon, Mansour, Feeney, Eden

Team "Sticky what are you doing, Hodgson can play 80"

    Same team but
    HOK: McCollough for Hodgson
    FRF: Stockwell/Evans for LAM
    2RF: M Cooper for Merrin

Because of Griffin being Griffin I might swap Merrin out anyway or shift LAM to the 2RF in place of Cartwright but we'll see on that one. If Hurrell does get a spot in Round 1 he'll give me more money to work with but presuming he doesn't I think Lawrence is the best I can do in that position without playing a cow in the CTR's.

Moa, Napa, Evans who benefits most without JWH?
Napa because he starts..Does anyone (Milchy) have any stats on him when he starts as FRF?
Evans may see more minutes & bulked up...possibly more to gain
Moa from memory also stepped up when JWH was absent previously.

Sure Moa's avg only bumps up by a point or 2 without JWH
Napa started 14 games at prop last year he averaged 52 minutes for an avg of 39. exactly where he is priced
Evans potentially has the most to gain from those 3 with his massive PPM

I've got Evans in my squad, I think he'll step up a notch this year.

He's beefed up a bit and will be even harder to stop.
