I've also got Auva'a and Feeney starting - what are you going to do if they're not named?

I'll probably move Aubbo into the centres with Lawrence and make Taylor the 4th reserve. Will have to play either Gutherson or Copley at the back, hopefully wont come to that.

I'm sweating on Feeney starting and making some money because I don't have the cash to upgrade to someone worthwhile.

    - J. Nikorima is a risk when we don't know how long Pearce is out for, with that said if it pays off it would be a good risk. TMM has been hyped up but at this stage won't play, I think you would be better served moving Nikorima to the HLF's and playing Levi/Parcell.

    - Not certain about the Nate Myles pick, you would want him to play big minutes (50+ minutes) to see him potentially rise in cash. Otherwise there are lots of other guys in and around that price range that have better potential. Myles did average 44 points a game last year when playing more than 50 minutes at Prop. So do you personally see him attracting massive minutes a game? (Rochow, Cartwright, Taukeiaho, Ah Mau, Finucane, Taia, Sue, Williams are other guys you can look at.)

    - Napa averaged 50 minutes last season for an average of 39 points. (Where he is priced at.) With all the injuries to the Rooster pack if he can find solid minutes he will be a great pick. What sort of minutes are you expecting from him? If you think it may only be 50 still it may be better looking elsewhere, as such the guys I listed above.

    - I don't like the N. Asofa-Solomona too much, but as long as you think he will get extended time on the field then he is a good pick.

    - Roberts was forced to create a lot of opportunities himself last season and he scored 16 tries. While the Broncos will create a lot of opportunities he could be reigned in and play more set-pieces or push the ball to his outside. I think there is better value at CTR than Roberts. At his price you could look at Brown, Lawrence, Lafai or swap Ferguson to CTR and grab Mansour, Gordon, Slater, Mann.

    - Moylan is a great player but that has never reflected in Fantasy scoring, and there are plenty of guys cheaper with better potetial upside. As listed above.

Overall a solid team, a few places to knitpick on but nothing overly wrong and the fact you have fit Smith, Parker, DCE, S. Burgess, and J. Tedesco all in the squad makes it appealing.

    - I really like the Stockwell pick, if he can get 50 minutes and push his score to 40+ average he will make some decent money for you in the first 5 Rounds at the very least. Kane Evans also fits the bill, if you think he can make 50+ minutes he is a really good pick up.

    - I don't like Aubusson, been burnt too many times. However if he is starting I would pick him up. Although probably slot him into your CTR's, and you have Henry still so you can swap them around if needed.

Honestly not much to say about your team. It is a strong team overall. Honeysett touched on Auva'a and Feeny not starting possibility. (Though I would move Aubusson to your CTR's already.) I would also probably play another $300k back instead, but that is just personal preferance.

    DCE, SJ, Hastings, (ATaylor)
    Ferguson, Roberts, (Auva'a, Scott)
    RTS, Inglis, Moylan (Gutherson, Feeney)

    Firstly I love this team.

    - I love the Luke pick. However I would go with Lichaa if Luke isn't going to play the 80 minutes.
    - Papalii averaged 70 minutes last season and in almost all his games as 2RF he played 80 minutes. I don't see his scores improving and his current scores aren't good enough to warrant the investment. There are also plenty of cheaper options available.
    - Paasi is overhyped imo after the 9's. He is cheap but there is a lot of depth in the Titans pack so I don't see him getting enough minutes to warrant a pick.
    - Roberts was forced to create a lot of opportunities himself last season and he scored 16 tries. While the Broncos will create a lot of opportunities he could be reigned in and play more set-pieces or push the ball to his outside. I think there is better value at CTR than Roberts. (Copy and Paste from Filth's team breakdown.)
    - Moylan is a great player but that has never reflected in Fantasy scoring, and there are plenty of guys cheaper with better potetial upside (Copy and Paste from Filth's team breakdown.)
    - I don't like the Inglis pick that much. He can go massive in games but he also has games where he sort of drops out of them and does nothing during the games. Those games can really hurt his scoring there.

Random, what do you reckon I should do to run another 300k back?

I just switched on my bye detector button to check out the bye schedule, I have 15 players on a bye in round 12 affraid

I wouldn't worry too much about the byes early on. Start focusing on them from rounds 6-7. If your happy with your squad then roll with it.

I would get rid of Lawrence and run Aubusson/Copley as my CTR's, but that is me personally. I wouldn't stress too much about the byes yet. You can make trades later on for them.

Lads I need some differing opinions as I can't seem to clear my head.

A few of these players depend on team lists of course but gimme a bit of feedback if ya have a moment.

    Smith Parcell
    JBrom Graham Sue NPR
Parker Whitehead Cartwright Pauli Benry NPR
    Johnson DCE Hastings Taylor
    Croker Auva'a Chee-Kam NPR
    Mansuace Gordon Gutherson Feeney Mitchell

I still have 117k up y sleeve but no idea how to utilize it!

    nice mate, personally would go

think there is better value than Taumalolo mate, Aubbs is a good enough risk if you have never felt the Aubbs knife twist
could give you he cash to go Passi - Rochow/Sue/Stockwell or turn Feeney into something more substantial

I've noticed a few people questioning Auva'a starting and there's no need. Not only is he a quality footballer but NRL teams don't hold onto wife bashers to play reserve grade. If he wasn't going to play first grade they would have dumped him like the sack of shit he is.

    Haha, fair call.

I'm worried about playing him though. He played 4 games last year and scored 15-25 not exactly something to write home about.

As much as I love my forward pack I think I'll need to downgrade so I'm not running with three sub 150k players
