Doesn't say anything about Luke being suspended in here:

    I just did.

    He isn't.

*Luke Brooks and Dene Halatau are suspended for the start of the 2016 season.
*Luke Douglas is suspended for the start of the 2016 season.
**Tariq Sims and Sione Mata'utia are suspended for the start of the 2016 season.

Luke's a plenty, but not that Luke.  Mind you, it's a reasonable punt at any stage of the year that the grub is suspended.

Douglas is suspended for the start of the season. I don't have too much more to say. I do like it. I'm sure one of the veterans will be more than glad to give you an in depth analysis, as I, too, am new here and don't really qualify to give such a report.

It's not like you have to pass an exam before providing advice.

The more people here talking about potential players the better. Helps ensure a variety of players and view points get considered.

Don't know why you think it's off. Looks pretty solid to me.

Hookers- A common pairing and both should score very well for you this year
FRF- As mentioned Douglas is out to start the season. Besides that though he may be in line for more minutes or at least a step up in workload as he tries to lead from the front with no Myles. JTurbo is another who sounds like he could be in for an increase in either minutes or workload so both are potentiall undervalued. Personally I like the Pauli pick.
2RF- You've got your captaincy options sorted early on which is nice. I rate Cooper and think he will step up with no Merrin there. Rochow features in many teams and for good reason. Not so sure on the Hasson pick. Eels have a pretty large rotation of guys on the bench for their forward pack so unless you see him getting Pauli's role then game time could be an issue for him.
Halves- Going for 2 guns here will set you apart from a few sides. You don't get a potential cash cow in Niko but you get yourself a reliable gun scorer instead. DCE has great stats without Foran so expect him to go big while I would think ARey will return to his 2014 level now that he gets Burgess back and a more stable bunnies forward pack.
Centres- Hurrell is a risk but has a lot of upside potential. Cheapies with the others but that's what most seem to be going with anyway
WFBs- Mansour is a bit of a POD with some wary of his 2015 form and injury risk. I think he will go fine and with Fergo and Gordon there you have a nice back 3 that has a lot of upside but won't destroy the bank

    What do?

    HOK: J. Segeyaro (N. Peats)
FRF: A. Fifita, J. Bromwich (J. Trbojevic, NPR)
2RF: L. Ah Mau, R. Rochow, J. Tapine (NPR, NPR, NPR)
    HLF: D. Cherry-Evans, J. Maloney (NPR, NPR)
CTR: T. Lafai, D. Copley (NPR, NPR)
WFB: B. Ferguson, J. Mansour, M. Gordon (NPR, NPR)
    Cash Remaining: $2 000

    Notes:
    - Peats will become Granville/Hodgson if they have no bench Hookers.
    - J. Bromwich is first downgrade option pending NPR selections. (If I need cash.)
    - Lafai will become Holmes if no Barba is around. (Ferguson -> CTR, Copley -> Downgrade)

I really do not have anything to add as I think you have it all covered.

My only question is Maloney. Are you hoping for a big increase in scoring? I only ask as Townsend isn't a rookie.

    My reasoning is simple..

Maloney averaged 160 odd kick meters (Without Pearce, Maloney averaged 245 kick meters) S. Johnson averaged 282 kick meters.

Jackson Hastings averaged 8km more than Chad Townsend when playing 60+ minutes. Maloney averaged 49 points in these games.

Oh and Maloneys average in general without Pearce is 54 Points (10 Point bump on his price.)

I am hoping Maloney becomes the dominant HLF after sharing duties with Pearce, and hoping structured play runs through him more than Townsend. (Opening up attacking stats.) I feel he could go close to a 55 point average this year.

    I am considering Mullen/J. Reynolds.

    - Will Luke play 80 minutes? If not will you still select him?

    - Thoughts on Papalii's minutes if he is in the FRF?
    - How do you see Lawrences game time breaking down?
    - I don't like Cartwright, many people do. So ignore me on that.
    - You have some really solid depth across the park.

Well when you put it like that I might go Maloney over A. Reynolds and upgrade elsewhere. At the very least Moloney will not loose money and will see an increase.

Cheers mate. If for some bizarre reason the Warriors hit the ground running we all know Luke is an attacking hooker & could go well. I don't think Luke or Granville will play 80 but should score 45+ each. The Warriors play Wests first up which could be an ideal game for the Warriors.
If Papalii plays 80 like last year he'll score 45+. I expect him to play 2nd row as the Raiders have plenty of props.
I don't like Lawrence to be honest.
Cartwright is a punt but he is like Fifita in the respect that he can score a lot of points from 1 run plus he has the x factor. He's cheap & undervalued.
I don't like Copley to be honest but it allows me to swap him & Gutherson around. I might downgrade Copley to a nuffie to try & upgrade Lawrence.

@ Random. With the player changes at Manly, Bulldogs & Sharks I think DCE, Maloney & J. Reynolds are the 3 h/b's to target.

Wife's team, inspired by the Game Theory thread and looking for players who could go boom. I know there are a few obvious weaknesses, but will be interesting to see if the HLFs and WFBs can compensate. NORa dependent on teamlists. Rochow to Whitehead if named starter.

    Segeyaro (Parcell)
    JTrbo, Sue (CWN, Griffin)
Surgess, Taumalolo, Cartwright, Rochow (MCK, Ghana)
    DCE, SJ, Hastings, ATaylor
    Hurrell, Auva'a, Copley (BHenry)
    RTS, GI, Ferguson (Gutherson, Anderson)
