Final reserve to be drawn out of a hat, and Barba is only there should the unexpected happen.

I am sure i have said it before but I love your username.

    - Smith and Parker are absolute beasts to have both of.

    - If your mid-tier guys don't fire your FRF is screwed but that isn't a big problem.

    - I think Aubusson looks better in the CTR's and there is more value than Lyon and Croker in the 2RF. I would consider a swap there. Tbh I don't like either CTR pick but they are guns in that position.

Other than that I really like your team, guessing you downgrade Barba if he isn't named which is a solid option. Other than the one tweak, Aubbs to CTR I don't think there is much else to improve your team.

    Thoughts on this side?

    Lichaa Hodgson
    Fifita Grant Evans Lawrence
Surgess AhMau Cartwright Whitehead (JSafiti Leuluai)
    DCE Hastings (JNikorima Taylor)
    Aubusson Auvaa (Gutherson Scott)
    Tedesco Mansour Barba (Feeney Mitchell)

Not overly sold on Lawrence but can't see many other options around. Still to decide between Mansour and Gordon.

A few gambles/PODs here, but this is by far my favourite squad I've come up with. What do you dudes reckon?

    C. Smith, J. Friend
    A. Tolman, J de Belin, B. Lawrence - V. Leuluai
    S. Burgess, G. Cooper, E. Whitehead, R. Rochow - J. Aloai, J. Saifiti
    B. Hunt, D. Cherry-Evans, J. Hastings - A. Taylor
    T. Lafai, K. Auva'a - C. Scott, B. Henry
    J. Mansour, C. Gutherson, J. Feeney - L. Mitchell, G.Eden

Great halves, set and forget! same goes for your hookers too.

Tolman and JDB should be consistent and provide good bye coverage.

Solid 2nd row although there are still some mysteries surrounding Whithead.

Not sure about Lafai, if he hits his 2014 form he should be a good pick. Auva'a is a pretty standard pick if he starts.

A bit weaker here than others, if Feeney fires in his debut year at FB and Mansour goes back to being a beast, anything is possible.

All in all a pretty good squad.

I love the fact it looks so different to the standard teams getting put out. Your pack could really kill you if they don't fire though.

Surgess, Merrin, Cartwright, Aubbs, Saifiti, Bhana
    DCE, Hastings, Feeney, Taylor
    Gutherson, Auva'a, Henry, Scott
    Teddy, Gordon, Barba, Mitchell, Eden

    35k left.

Would I be better off staying with this side even though the addition of a 7th gun has weakened my centres? If I have to I can move Aubbs to the centres and depending on who performs better, I can play either Saifiti, Bhana, Feeney or Taylor as my 4th reserve (not sure I want to do that). Hopefully they make some quick cash so I can upgrade to a more solid reserve.

My previous side had Aubbs and CLaw in the centres,  LAM in my 2nd row instead of Aubbs and no Teddy at WFB, I was running Gordon, Feeney and Barba and I only had 1k leftover.

I wouldn't mind seeing @Welshy score this team. If barba is named fb than center is your only really weak point and I think Auva'a will go well enough to be in your 17. That only leaves Gutherson and if your team doesnt have one weak point than I would argue it doesn't have enough guns.

This reply is for SUPERCOACH ONLY, so the rest of you can go back to sleep and ignore this !!

    rule 1. GET GALLEN
rule 2. captain Gallen ( Parker & Surgess can get you 80 points but Gallen is capable of 120 points)

Scoring in Supercoach relies more on attack than defence, so you want try scorers, try assists, line breaks, offloads etc.
Have a look at the players list and you will see that Radradra, Gallen & RTS are the 3 most expensive players.

Hooker - Smith always scores well, but that is because of his allround game (but he is very expensive). You want a hooker that runs from dummy half a lot and picks up metres and line breaks, so Granville is fine ( i have Luke for the same reason ).

Have a look at Tom Trbojevic for a cheaper back with try scoring potential (100k difference between him and Harris !)
Zeb Taia was a gun in Supercoach a few years ago because of his line breaks and offloads. If he still plays like that.......

    anyway, good luck

Thanks for the tips mate. I was going to get Gallen in but thought he may have been too much. Think I'll reassess that.

Appreciate for the idea for my Backs. I didnt particularly want to start Copley but didnt know who I should downgrade. Think i'll look at your suggested move and bring in Trbojevic, that will free up some money to upgrade Copley.

    Thanks for your help man.

bit light in the WFB's but if a few of them could average 20-35 on top of that forward pack then this team could score well.

Made a few changes. Does anyone see any obvious problems with this team? Mullen is a bit of a smoky pick but I suppose you have to risk it sometimes.

    Ferguson - Oates - Gutherson,Mitchell,Mosby

Few things for you to work on here mate:

HOOKER - Both of those guys could work as a second hooker, but they both are prone to dud games here or there and and are unlikely to play 80 minutes every week - try to get one of the big guns - ideally Cameron Smith as he's generally the best captain choice out there.

FRONT ROW - Hannant isn't a good pick unless Scott or Tamou cop long-term injuries, and your benchies probably aren't getting a game at this stage. Your best bet might be to downgrade Hannant to someone like Grant or Evans, upgrade Welch to Lawrence or Packer, and Kennedy to Vince Leuluai, who's likely to play early on and has DPP.

BACK ROW - Lowe is iffy at that price, plenty of others in his range are more appealing, not to mention cheaper options like Rochow or Sue. All of your cheapies are questionable, and while you can sort them out when teams are named, you might need to fork out for a fourth proven scorer.

HALVES - Mbye and Mann are both dodgy picks. Hastings is a must and plenty of teams will be running with Barba, Nikorima or Feeney. I think you should look to save some money here.

CENTRE - Linnett is a horrible pick at that price, and Griffin won't play. Hurrell is rumoured to be on the outer as well, but luckily there are a lot of likely cheap options here like Auva'a, Scott and maybe Littlejohn. Again, I'd be looking to save money here and spend it on forwards.

BACKS - Oates is no good - he regularly scores under 25, while Mosby won't get a game unless there are a lot of injuries. I'd switch him to maybe Eden, Addo-Carr or Chanel Mata'utia and try to upgrade Oates to Mansour or Gordon.

Main thing to remember is your goal is to have a squad full of guys averaging around 50 by the time Origin is finished, so you want guys who are either already averaging around that mark or cheap players with a clear opportunity to make money.
