Quick question, is there a specific reason a number of teams are going for L. Ah Mau? Does it look as if he is going to play big minutes or is there another factor?

Everyone is guessing where merrins minutes will go. There's a spread of people with LAM or JDB and also a few people with Copper as well.

@ Random. Why no Surgess or Merrin (or alternative gun). Your 2fr seems to be very light.

Why not both? Though personally I would lean towards L. Ah Mau over Z. Taia.

LAM also finished the season playing more minutes and scoring more points than at the start of the season, and he is obviously priced at his overall season average. So he is potentially under valued even without any / many of Merrin's minutes if he continues that form / role.

Having Barba and Feeney starting wfb should mean having a stocked forward pack which you don't have if I'm to be honest. I think Croker can be downgraded as well

Nothing I can see wrong with any choices, besides you know Soward.

Also not a fan of the Croker choices, capable of massive scores but he can be inconsistent and with options $70k less than him, you could save cash. Though that is the only problem and it is a minor one.

I wouldn't grab Eden if you can avoid it, good chance he sticks around for a couple weeks and Kahu takes the spot on the wing.
Other than that and a few TLT questions, it is an incredibly good looking squad.

Croker is a saved trade in the centres mate. A season keeper and should be top 2 centres for the year. Stick with him. Raiders to improve. Its not all about cash because to realise the cash you need to waste a trade.

- I would aim for a second gun HOK. Nikorima is sweet, but how many weeks he gets is up in the air, and if he only gets $100k before Pearce returns. Well that is a big jump to a decent Hooker.
- Moeroa may start this week but Watmough should be back soon, and 80 minutes wont gaurantee he scores much better than he is priced. (There are also better options I feel in his price range. E.g. Rochow, Sue, Whitehead, and T. Williams, S. Lane, K. Turner potentially.)
- NGreen ??
- I dislike Croker, not a big deal though he can have amazing games and score well over the season.

That is completely fair, I am one of those players that value consistency week in and week out posting similar scores, an example would be choosing B. Hunt or A Reynolds over J. Thurston or S. Johnson. But at the end of the year Thurston and Johnson will score just as well, perhaps even better than the other two. So with your extra justification Croker is a great pick up.

Jnik will get a decent run I'm feeling. Will get a 2nd Hooker when I know which one I want for Origin. Just think I don't want to lock that position up and would rather make some cash. Wasn't game enough to go Cherrington/Parcell.
Just a hunch on Moeroa, think he will demand the start all year and with the shoulder better(im hoping) I think he has the game to have a big year. Don't think there is much upside to Rochow personally. Not sure on Sue with Edwards back soon.
Sorry, N Green will get DPP will be named at 2nd row for manly have a feeling he will be a bit of a smokey at the start of the year (average around 35-40 I reckon). Would rather gamble on him than Chris Lawrence for 110k less.
