The only bye planning I have done is by selecting Peats and Gordon in my side.

I don't tend to post my team because of the copy cats like Bren that ride my coat tails. But I'm making an exception this year to build a sense of community on the new forum.

Got rid of B. Lawrence, team looks a hell of a lot different now though, the WFB's took a big hit but now my FRF is even stronger... Too strong I think.

-Running with Niko at the hooker spot is a major gamble. Needs to make a fair whack of money and for your other cows to have done the same come Pearce's return. If he gets the bench utility role he will bleed cash for you if you don't upgrade and the problem with this position is that there is really only top level players worth having.
-2nd row lacks a reliable 4th option in my opinion. All of them are cash cow options at this stage, with Safiti and Henry (I assume you got mixed between him and Packer) not being guaranteed in their role for anything more than a couple of weeks, while Grevs is too much to pay for a bench player. Even finding the cash for Whitehead would be an upgrade here.
-POD gun half. Will be interesting to see if he and the rest of the spine click right away, otherwise you could be in some trouble
-Expensive centre pairing and this is obviously where some of your cash has gone. With the way TLT went though it is a solid pairing and doesn't require the gambles that others will run
-Teddy stands out here as your main area where you could get some cash should you want it. Barba being named at FB is great for the side and you've gone for Mansour as a nice POD over the usual suspects like Gordon and Fergo

mentioned it earlier in a review but it's a major risk running with niko at hooker. you are most likely going to have to trade him as soon as Pearce returns. There is no realistic option below 400k so you have to have a combo of niko having made a fair bit, and either a lot of cash spare/a cash cow that has made a fair bit that has also maxed out at that point.

besides that it is a good team. a fair few PODs here and there, some picks I'm not a fan of (Whitehead, Evans as a starter) but that's personal preference

Well I'm set, I've got a lot of Cash Cows, just punting it. Going of to do my Army Basic training on the 15th of March, 80days training so pretty much half a season,
Supposedly every now and then you do get some tech time for bills and shit, ill be doing read ups and trading in those times. So it's going to be these first two weeks
to get some useful trading happening before I'm off.

NOTES
- Yes I only want 1 GUN Half at the moment so that's deliberate....
- As is the low end starting centres...
- 2 GUN hookers as I figure I will get 2 in the end and too much risk with Cherrington, Hodgson is over priced IMO and the others ie Purcell and Niko don't excite me at HK

Still have 51K left and could drop Seg for liccha and save more, actually lots of examples of savings for similar points but don't want to kill my points for $'s

Was looking at the top half and thinking your backs must be horrendous and when I got to them, they aren't actually that bad. Squeezed a lot of top line guns in there, but your biggest issue with it will be the lack of mid range cash earners. You will probably lack the cash come the end of the season to get your reserve forwards, and your backs upto keepers and if some of them fail early on you will have to use trades downgrading some of your guns in order to get some short term cash

- Just on your thoughts regarding Hodgson, when playing 80 minutes last season (4 Games) he averaged 59 points. He also had a PPM of 0.79 which would net him 63 points. While only being priced at 46 points. So he is under priced by roughly 15 points if he is playing the 80 minutes, and he looked impressive during the Raiders trial game against the Knights. The only worry is Baptiste named on an extended bench, which is still a good sign.

Other than that tidbit, you have a really impressive looking team.

Yeah just wanted to see how stacked a front row really could be, the team I am planning to run is crazy light in the 2RF, looking to generate as much cash as possible.

I don't really have anything of note other than Auva'a being selected when he won't play. But that is a minor gripe the rest of your squad is really solid. No changes I would suggest if you want to to run with the weaker WFB, which is a fair thing to do.
