I don't recall Packer ever really being fantsay relevant, I'm not convinced there's much upside there.

Moeroa I guess I'm just scared off from last year, he looks like a tank this year for sure but I'm cautious.

Taumalolo tbh I toyed with the idea myself. Think he's a good POD if you want to be brave and different.

Packer consistently scored high-30s to low-40s and broke 50 a couple of times in his last year at the Warriors.
He's not going to be a gun but will definitely make money.

    - Cherrington is too scary for me, if it works though..
    - Fensom and Whitehead, are you confident in both of them getting 80 minutes? (Out of the 3 Raiders 2RF last season, Fensom averaged the lowest)
    - Hopoates score at FB last season averaged 29.5 (Over 6 games) and that is what he is priced at. He may do better at the Bulldogs, but I would look at grabbing Kurt Mann.

    C.Law-B.Ferg,K.Hurrell,P.Matautia

    This is my current team

    Smith Seggy
    A Fifita LAM Evans (Leuluai)
Surgess Cartwright Whitehead Turner (Bhana Saifiti)
    DCE Hastings Taylor (JNiko)
    Benry CLaw (Gutherson Littlejohn)
    Tedesco Barba Mann (Mitchell Feeney)

Was adamant pre-TLT that I wanted Fifita... but after seeing that Melbourne side, if I go Bromwich instead I can have any second rower $356k or under (for Turner) or any second rower $411k or under (for Whitehead).

Alternatively it gives me $98k to improve any other position. Opinions please!

    Mann, Barba, Feeney, Mitchell, Gutherson

Don't know what you are fussing about there mate. Good team. Solid mix of guns, mid rangers and some cashies. Only weakness could be the lack of reliable scorers in the backs but that will hold true for a fair amount of teams I think so no major issue there.

The main thing you are missing appears to be Hastings. Should be the most reliable and high scoring of any of the potential cash cows and unlike the rest he is likely to be able to be in your team for the long run until he gets high enough it's a simple upgrade to one of the big guns. Plus you get a more reliable second half.

Besides that it looks good. Smith, Surgess, Parker and Mannering have limited your spending power in other areas but their scores will make up for it. Depending on cash left, I would use the money you save from Mann to Hastings, and also possibly downgrading Hurrell to a cash cow cheapie, and either upgrade one of your bench 2rfs, preferably to Rochow/Whitehead/Aubo if you can, or Welch to someone like Evans

Turner has injury concerns and also not the best job security as it remains to be seen where he ends up next week when Gurgess returns and Surgess moves back to the back row. The only decent ones I can think of off the top of my head would be Rochow or Aubo

    Here we go mate,

-Hooker combo is solid. Hodgson is a POD and a bit of a gamble but he is highly priced enough that it's a relatively easy enough switch should he not get the 80 minutes you want
-Potentially a bit light in the front row. Sue, while being a possible cash cow can also be a bit middle of the road in terms of scoring and that will limit his price growth. Started out strong last year but remains to be seen if he can carry that through an entire season, or at least till the 1st bye and you can upgrade to a next level player. Packer has question marks as well. As someone mentioned earlier, he isn't like he was in the Super League last year, he just had a complete year off in addition to his time off in jail. Never had big scores at the Warriors either so personally don't think it will be any different now
-3 good scorers in the 2nd row. I personally like the Taumalolo pick. A good POD who can only go up in his game. Some will have memories of Moeroa last year where he was one of the must have cash cows at the start of the year only to bomb week in week out. For his price I would rather you look at going with someone like Whitehead, or shifting Aubo there, downgrading to a cheapie centre and using the cash in your front row. Or upgrading within the 2nd row if you have the cash.
    - No real need to comment on the halves as every type of analysis has been given about running those 4 this offseason.
    - Probably the best centre pairing you will realistically see at the start of the season. Should score very well and consistently. Would rather you find a better 4th reserve than Henry though. Will likely float in and out of the starting team as Bodene gets back to full fitness so a lack of consistency should be expected.
-Tedesco at the back provides you with a high scoring gun. I think Gordon is in for a good year, and with TLT being kind to Barba owners you have been able to avoid running Feeney in your 17th which I like. I really like this backline

    Smith,hodgson
    Woods, grant, mataora, kevins
Surgess, b cartwright, merrin, turner, bhana, saifiti
    DCE, hastings, feeney, taylor
    Aubs, Littlejohn, auva'a, gutherson
    Slater, barba, gordon, kennar, mitchell

Hodgson, Turner and the frf's reserves. The centers aren't great but I can play Littlejohn this week and then gutherson until Auva'a gets back into the souths side.

Surgess Graham Cartwright Rochow Saifiti Leuluai

    Ferguson Gordon Feeney Barba Mitchell

-Bold hooker move going without Smith or one of the more reliable big guns. Peats should score similar to the likes of Seggy and Macca though as long he remains injury free. Hodgson is a nice POD to have.
-Fifita your likely captain option here. Paulo is a bold move and haven't seen him in a team for awhile. Has the potential to really step up his game but as with a lot of Parra forwards they tend not to. Evans has got a bit less tempting with rumours JWH may be back sooner than expected but he should still score well enough at the start to make some decent cash.
    - Really rate your 4 scorers here. They also happen to be the same as mine. Surgess is potentially underpriced, I expect Graham to step up to the next level this year, and Cartwright starting is great news and he has the ability to really rack up some points, while Rochow is another who is possibly underpriced to start the season and could come out strong.
-Standard halves quartet, nothing to say here
-Aubo is nice, as is having Henry and Gutherson. Would worry a bit about Henry scoring for you, especially with an eye to future weeks when he likley loses his starting spot to Bodene. If Copley isn't scoring for you I would cut him. Save the 40k for upgrades after round 1.
-Same back 5 as me as well. Good mix of reliable scorers, some hopefully big scorers and some nice cheapies.

Really like this team for the most part. Biggest worry for me would be your front row where you may find that Paulo and Evans don't kick on as much as thought but hopefully Fifita makes that up for you.

Just terrible mate. Can't believe you would put up such trash like this and expect to finish in the top 10000 let alone top 1000.

In all seriousness it is a nice team. Good mix of guns and mid rangers, with some nice cashies thrown in. I like your plan for the centres. Biggest worry is your possibly weak front row, and that would be the one area I would target with your remaining cash and anything else you can find. Even if it just getting in LAM, or bringing in Evans it would bulk it up a bit

no major flaws there mate. Your high end 2nd row has cost you a bit in your front row but hopefully for you their high scores will offset any average ones your front rowers. Pretty standard hooker, halves and fullback pairings with just a few differences here and there, Mann could be a nice POD. A bit of a light WFB though and if Barba gets shifted or Feeney doesn't start out strong you could be found out there. Would drop Copley if he ain't scoring for you though. Utilize that cash somewhere, preferably front row, maybe in conjunction with downgrading a gun 2nd rower even down to Cartwright to give you some nice cash to mess around with
