    DCE (V), Hastings, Taylor, Nikorima
    Aubusson (Shudder), Leilua, Green, Davis
    Mann, Barba, Feeney, Mitchell, Gutherson

    $2k to spare

The 2 obvious areas for me are to cut Leilua or Aubo and only run with 1 mid ranger there. Or to cut Packer and go with Taylor as 4th reserve. But even then I can't see much of an upgrade at the back for you. Going from Mann to Fergo/Mansour/Gordon doesn't really change too much. The only way to make your WFB look stronger is really to upgrade one of the nuffies and shift Feeney to the bench and the only way you will do that is with a centre downgrade.

Besides that it is a good team with a fair amount of depth and some good potential cashies

    Thoughts
    Smith (c), Lichaa
Surgess, M. Cooper, Evans (V. Leuluai)
Merrin, Cartwright, Whitehead, Rochow (Benry, J, Safiti)
    DCE, Hastings (Taylor, J-Nik)
    Aubussen, Green, Littlejohn (Gutherson)
    Ferguson, Gordon, Barba (Feeney, Mitchell)

Green & Littlejohn are areas of concern. I should get a few games out of Green & either cash out or he might retain his place in the 17. Littlejohn will play 1 game but happy to take his haul & then just sit him there. I still don't really like Rochow (only alternative that I like is Moeroa) but he does play 80 so he's pretty handy & up against the Titans in round 1 could get some attacking points.

Was adamant pre-TLT that I wanted Fifita... but after seeing that Melbourne side, if I go Bromwich instead I can have any second rower $356k or under (for Turner) or any second rower $411k or under (for Whitehead).

Alternatively it gives me $98k to improve any other position. Opinions please!

I think I'm pretty settled on my lineup, would have loved to squeeze Super Ted in, but it meant weakening other areas..

    HOK: Smith (Peats)
    FRF: Gallen, Woods (Evans, Leuluai)
2RF: Surgess, Graham, Ah Mau (Aubusson, Saifiti, Bhana)
    HLF: DCE, Hastings (Taylor, Jikorima)
CTR: Leilua, Green (Henry, Lil Jon)
WFB: Mansour, Barba, Feeney (Mitchell, Gutherson)

In all seriousness it is a nice team. Good mix of guns and mid rangers, with some nice cashies thrown in. I like your plan for the centres. Biggest worry is your possibly weak front row, and that would be the one area I would target with your remaining cash and anything else you can find. Even if it just getting in LAM, or bringing in Evans it would bulk it up a bit
Thanks mate, when I win I'll definitely give you a shout out.

The main thing you are missing appears to be Hastings. Should be the most reliable and high scoring of any of the potential cash cows and unlike the rest he is likely to be able to be in your team for the long run until he gets high enough it's a simple upgrade to one of the big guns. Plus you get a more reliable second half.

Besides that it looks good. Smith, Surgess, Parker and Mannering have limited your spending power in other areas but their scores will make up for it. Depending on cash left, I would use the money you save from Mann to Hastings, and also possibly downgrading Hurrell to a cash cow cheapie, and either upgrade one of your bench 2rfs, preferably to Rochow/Whitehead/Aubo if you can, or Welch to someone like Evans

    Thanks Beast, I have punted Mann,Hurrell & Frei for Hastings,Green & Whitehead.
Does Hastings start in front of Niko?

Short answer yes. Hastings is/was going to be the halves pairing with Pierce (Until he dry humped a dog, kissed a lesbian and pee'd his pants).

I have a number of concerns with my team. Firstly, too many cheapies, im confident there is money to be made in most of them, but it may mean sacrificing a lot of points and a number of trades to reap the cash.

I think there is a good spread of guns across the park, but I see many weakness. Not sure where is best to downsize, and where my true weakness is (as it seems to be across the park)

Feedback is rewarded, kinda. Not really. But it is appreciated.

    Hookers:
    Licha, (Dockar-Clay)
    FRF:
    Bromwich, Evans, (Leuluai, Pauli)
    2RF
Merrin, AhMau, Parker, B.Henry, Cartwright (Palavi)

    Halves
    DCE, Hastings, Nikorima, (A.Taylor)
    Centres
    Croker, Dugan, Gutherson, (Auva'a)
    Wingers/FBs
    Tedesco, Ferguson, Feeny, (Mitchel, Eden)

You've spent a lot on your backs which is money most people are using on their forwards. That's obvioulsy not the normal approach for most around here, but props to you if you want to be the one to roll the dice.

As for where you would downsize, that answer is clear, the centres. For example pushing Fergo to centre you can chop one of Croker or Dugan into Mansour or Gordon or Slater and you just got yourself 70k or so, or 130k ish if you ditched Dugan.

Personally I'd love to find a way to get Dugan into my team because fantasy seems to love him, but I can't make it work with the forwards I want as well.

Still a lot of big names in this team, second row is still really strong. I always want two gun hookers personally, but sometimes it pays to be the one breaking the mould.

Yes start Hastings. Having Niko as a scorer is a big gamble, one I wouldn't be taking at this point when there is really no reason to have dud reserves as it isn't like you have had to adjust for injuries and suspensions and have to make do for a round

Good changes though. Green is a possible cash cow and Whitehead could go off and be a great pick up

I've also got a second team. Refer to it as my 'Cows with Guns' team. Older members would remember this song from the 90s.

    Tell me what you think.

    Smith (C) / Cherrington (R)
    S.Burgess / A.Fifita / Welch Nicol / D.Saifiti
    Parker / W.Graham / Mannering / J.Saifiti (R) / Elliot / Frei
    DCE / Hastings / Taylor (R) / J.Nikorima
    C.Lawrence / Aubusson / Henry (R) / Gutherson
    Barba / Tedesco / Gordon / Mitchell / Eden

And ill be singing to all my Cash cows. *RUN COW RUN*

Pretty good mix IMO, ive got a similar flavour in my first team, Guns with Cows and a few mid ranges to be safe. Enough class in the backline to not be to be left short. Guns up front. I like it.

Littlejohn is going to be out of the team in a week, there's no guarantee that he will play again this year. That's an extremely risky pick so early in the season.

    Nice team.

Probably the only one I've seen without Barba, he's value but still there are questions on him. JTurbo shouldn't lose value, just not sure how much to expect from him with an improved pack. Looked really good at the end of last year so if he carries that on he'll give you bang for your buck. There is risk with Littlejohn/Auva'a in CTR's.

Anyways you should feel good with that running into rd 1.
