Pretty good start, but a few little things I'd recommend:

    - You need Cam Smith, especially for captaincy purposes. Both those guys are fine as his no.2, although Peats has a tendency to cop bad injuries
    - Lolo and Ma'u are a bit iffy - better options in that price range imo.
    - Taka is a fantasy dud - Aubusson has far more value as a centre so I'd shift him here
    - There are doubts over nearly every cash cow, but I really think Auva'a and Henry have better long-term prospects than Davis

    Adding to this

    - You don't need Smith if you have another gun as Captain. E.g. Parker, Fifita. I don't necessarily think S. Burgess and/or D. Cherry-Evans are options though.
    - Agreed Takairangi isn't worth taking at all.
    - Davis may not be there next week with McDonald being back.
    - I agree as well I would avoid Mau as he doesn't really have room for improvement. (On the fence of Taumalolo.)
    - There are stronger options besides Roberts that are cheaper. Mansour/Ferguson/Mann/Slater. Roberts is an unknown within the Broncos system and may be utilised less.

All criticism welcome, reserves in bold.  I might have too much money on the pine.

Might take Grant out and upgrade someone else?

Hoping to improve on last year's 502nd placing in my second year.

    Smith, J.Niko
    J.Bromwich, LAM, Evans, Leuluai
    CP13 (c), Mannering, Surgess, Whitehead, Benry, J.Saifiti
    Barba, Bunt, Hastings, A.Taylor
    J.Roberts, Auva'a, HHunt, Kennar
    Slater, Gutherson, T.Trbojevic, Feeney, Latrell

Thought I'd spend big on forwards, since that's where the most points are.

Its going to change again due to too may mid rangers I think, just hard to look past some of the points potential

    Smith, Lichaa
    Woods, Surgess, Ah Mau, Leulai
Merrin, Cartwright, Rochow, Whitehead, Turner, Saifiti
    DCE, Hastings, JNiko, Taylor
    Aubusson, Green, Henry, Gutherson
    Barba, Gordon, Feeney, Eden, Mitchell

Just realised also no DPP in 2RF or WFB Rolling Eyes

Some POD's in there. Tom Turbo is someone I haven't looked at, he sure is promising if at fullback. Mannering is another who was awesome last year and isn't getting much love. I think his role should be similar to last year? There was mention of him moving to an edge and not playing 80, but he's named at lock iirc so not sure.

I am also tempted by Bunt, but I'm actually expecting Milford to be our(broncs) big weapon this year so maybe a little more goes his way. Having said that I can see Hunt averaging 55-60 like he has for the last 2 years even if Milford takes it up notch.

Nice team, and 502nd for a first year (or any year really) is a solid effort.

Well balanced side, not taking any of the 500+ guys will do that for you. It's a strategy that can back-fire (captain wise), though I think this could be the year that there is potential for other players to emerge into the ~60ppg category. Mainly due to reduced interchanges, someone like Merrin for example could make a jump into the mega-elite. And then is DCE who I think will ave 60 +/- 5ppg if he has a rather productive season in attack.

Overall there isn't a single player I would put into the questionable category so well done and good luck.

First thought is to try and spend that 250k. That much cash is costing points - it's nearly like you're playing with 16 on ground with that kind of money in the kitty.

I don't think you can afford Liicha straight up for Cherrington. I don't really love the idea of Cherrington because soon as Farah comes back you're stuck. Downgrading to a half is possible (or even a WFB by bringing Feeney/Barba to HLF, JNiko to Hok) but I'd prefer not to have to do an awkward move like that. But that's just me, if you're happy to roll with Cherrington go for it, should make money and score well for the first month at least.

Rest of the team has solid picks.

I'm not happy because i want Mansauce back! So i tweaked it again mate, didn't have the cash for Whitehead so had to stick with Rochow
In the current set up i can get Teddy in and run him with Feeney and Barba and run Taylor as 4th reserve

So I take it you still don't get Mansauce haha.

Tedesco is one of those players I am most scared of. Taking him with his injury history and price is hard to do. Yet leaving him out with a Blues jersey to play for is also scary. Atm I am taking one of the 300k guys and hoping their improvement offsets any great scores from Tedesco.

I do currently just feels safer after the punts in the forwards on guys like LAM, Turner, Carty, Rochow hitting above their current avgs

adding Gordon and Mansauce back in together just adds another 2 question marks in addition to the above, I'm still undecided

Well it all comes down to where the cheapies are in the end doesn't it. I feel more confident in the WFB cheapies like Feeney, Mitchell and Gutherson getting games (and even scoring) compared to Bhana types. So on balance I'd prefer to have 3 mid rangers at 2RF than 2 mid rangers at WFB.

    Segayro Liicha
    Woods SBurgess Evans (Leuluai)
Parker(VC) Merrin Cartwright Whitehead (Henry Saifiti)
    DCE(C) Hastings Taylor (JNiko)
    Ferguson Green (Matai Auva'a)
Slater Barba Feeney (Mitchell Gutherson)... 16k left.

Considering if I should take Bhana over Auva'a. I do like Matai to jag a streak of form and make some money, he's only 30k more than basement.
