    Didn't see this posted yesterday

    For the Storm:
    - George Jennings did not travel with the team due to a low grade hamstring issue (usually 2-4 weeks return to play)
    - Tyson Smoothy nearing end of PCL injury rehab, hope to return next week
    - Brenko Lee to return in Q Cup tomorrow after consecutive calf injuries

It's one of my numerous mistakes for this week.
I should've chucked Lodge into the 13 and put Watson into NPR loop when he was named at 5/8 (instead of Fog)

Oh shit that’s right it’s a 4 trade week. I’ll probably use my 4 trades heading into the bye as opposed to this week. Just feels too early to be making mass moves

    My thought process:

    1. No way in hell I want this deal to go through.
    2. Wait... if he's coming here for cheap to play wing, great. Could be a good bit of business
    3. How the fuck is he on $850k at the bulldogs? That is criminal
    4. We are going to pay him $450-$500k? Fuck no that's terrible. See point 1.

    I stopped reading at Pt1. That's it.

Sorry MTB but according to The NRL Fantasy Bible, constructed by the lord and saviour MS, you may need to adjust your perspective. Fodder for R17 has to come from somewhere, and who better than a man with a high BE and ??? over minutes

As stipulated in The NRL Fantasy Bible Rounds 13-17:1

"By this part of the season most are running low on trades so decide to not worry about the second bye. This is the one I target the most as it’s the last real chance to storm home. If I have managed to saves all my trades and have 18 remaining I’ll be open to sideways trading guns. If I have the lower end with 11 remaining I’ll try to keep the guns. Most important thing is to make a list of the captaincy options for round 17 and get all these guys in. Once again these are the guys that will make or break your bye round, do whatever it takes to get them in. Round 13,14,15,16 will be max trade trying to go with cows and guns where needed. Round 17 if you are going to sideways trade guns this is the time to do it with 4 trades. Trading a round 13 guy to a round 17 guy with the same average could net you an extra 60 points, which makes all the difference at the end of the year. If things have gone poorly for you at the start of the year you will be using your last trade in this round then hanging on for dear life
Minimum trades used 11, maximum trades used 12. Trades remaining 0-6."

Yup, stupid signing for that money, typical Warriors.

The only way you could justify that is if the plan is to play DWZ FB and Walsh in the halves. That's still stupid, mind you, but at least a warped logic to it.

Going to be tough to catch with any sort of decent round 17 numbers

Will i wobble in the straight or finish it off.... need this rounds remaining players to go for the kill. 655 with 7 remaining.

Just went back and read NRL physio post about Albert Kelly saying unlikely to play next week.

Does this mean Gamble will be named in the halves? Who knows, it's Kevin Bloody Walters.

How realistic is it that Walsh plays in origin 2 because I've heard a few pundits suggesting it. Of course it depends on the Ponga injury situation but could Walsh fill a utility position on the bench.

I doubt Kev knows himself tbh. Wouldn't surprise me if Langer is named next week.

    Very nice.
If you manage 1k this week, it'll be a massive score & rank move I'd think.

I thought the same thing. Probably still the best half on their payroll.

They could bring Alex Glenn out of retirement and see how he goes. I mean he's not a half, but neither is KHunt

QLD's backline depth is crap, Walsh has been a standout performer.

Could honestly see him coming in as a move of desperation.

Being tempted by any breathing WFB this week to cover Teddy hasn’t been fun. Held strong so far.
Now RTS has popped onto the radar, still averaging fairly well out on the wing and back at FB for a week

Kevin Walters ‘I guess chopping and changing the team, due to injuries and blokes a bit out of form doesn’t help, but it's something we'll have to look at for next week on Thursday against Souths.’

Also Khunt talking about ‘kicking cans’ ......they can’t even get on the cans right 🙄

Paul Green is the coach......he’ll probably just move Arrow to the backs
