Pretty good (bloody cold though)! I'm a huge You Am I and Tex Perkins fan so was good to see them - sucked a bit that Regurgitator, the Meanies and Magic Dirt couldn't come due to Covid lockdowns. First time I've seen Grinspoon live since about 1997.

Hello friends. Is Matto for Averillo (taking Jones' 47, and playing Averillo, slotting Peach into 18) a good idea? Leaves me 10 trades left and will probably swap TPJ --> Haas or Thompson next round. All other R17 mids failed their auditions.

This gives me S.Critta, Peach, Burton, Avo as centres, will shove Burton R18 and hide S.Critta as 18th man.

TU: Do it, do it now
    TD: You're a moron

    Thank you friends.

    That is solid.
I'm on 864 with Moses, Ipap, and Avo to play. I'd be happy with an on par score this round. I'll be behind the couch for tomorrow's 4pm game when Turbo & Fifita are wreaking havoc.

After adding Friday’s updates to my score which they will add at end of round no doubt I’m 12/825 C with DCE, Turbo, Peachey, Moses and Olakau’atu to come.

Not sure how that has me placed!

I’ve been out on the piss tonight and missed the Raiders v Dragons and the Storm v Tigers games.
Apart from fantasy scores, can anyone give me a summary please, ie, likely injuries, suspensions, players dropped etc.
    Cheers in advance.

Most likely injury would be to one or both of your knees.  There would have been no suspensions as I know you are very responsible with drinking and driving.  U da playa so if u won da fyt u didn getz dropd... Very Happy

Awesome! I've been spreading the Word of Tex since the mid 80's with the Beasts of Bourbon, but could never get in to You Am I.

    Hilarious mate.
I was actually at my retirement function tonight and as it was a police function, it was all very above board.
My 17 year old daughter was the designated driver and everyone made it home safe.
Well I have, the kids are still out on the town so fingers crossed (not the 17 year old).

Yeah mate, all official as far as that goes.
Still jumping through hoops, seeing doctors and all that stuff.
Definitely won’t be returning to that job.

Good stuff Chucky. I'm thinking I've only heard a small part of what you've been through, but that's enough to know you deserve it.  I'm sure Bride of Chucky has a long list of domestic chores waiting for you.

I don't have Thompson, iPap, Matto, DCE, Turbo, Fifita, or Peachey, so despite having three in play today, I'm a little scurred.

850/13 C with Taupau, Fifita, Averillo, and Turbo to play. Averages will get me to 1093....

844 with Papalii, Thompson, Jackson, Peachy and Turbo to come. Sitting at 46 overall, fingers crossed I make up some ground today!
In other news, Brailey has been pretty ordinary the past few weeks....he might find himself on the chopping block despite the high average.

    Mate, I feel for ya.

    Swings and roundabouts this game

3 of my trade ins Walsh (44), Aitken(47) and SJ(60) did their job but some absolute rubbish the last 2 weeks

Wouldn't mind if Fogarty, Moses or Matterson had a week off

MIGHTY RAIDERS SIT DOWN AND DEFINITELY DON’T APPLAUD

Well done Dragons and all those with high scores.

I’m a little under par at 12/775. Sold Hunt to SJ as I needed the cash to upgrade to Tohu next week.

Have Fifita, Moses, Opacic, Fogarty and Croker to come... and a minor hang over and a requirement to be at U9s footy at 8:30am today.

I only did 2 of my planned four trades this week, didn’t see anyone I wanted with the cash. I think my new plan is go hard at R17 and 18 and then use extra trades to get origin guns that others won’t have enough trades to get back in.

The Dragons game was very windy. Ben Hunt put up a bomb that went 10m forward and then 20m backwards

Raiders debuted Xavier Savage from 18th man when Seb Kris went off due to foul play from Jack Bird. But 11 minutes were later were told that they weren't allowed to do that, and Savage came off again. If Raiders had won they may have lost the points.
I realise most of that isn't fantasy relevant stuff, its just interesting things about the game.

For Tigers - their first half was the worst performance by any team in recent memory. I'd say worse than any of the Broncos efforts of the past 18 months. Storm were basically scoring at will. Lucy got hooked mid half, but got a reprieve when Shawn Blore came off injured 6 minutes later. In theory there will be mass changes next week (perhaps starting with Maguire gone) but probably they'll just drop a winger and promote a bench prop.
Brandon Smith corked his calf, Tom Eisenhuth dislocated his elbow and Reimis Smith hurt himself too. Bellamy said 1-2 games for Reimis, I don't think Brandon was that serious

What was Bird's foul play? Likely to miss games?
