NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 69 - Nice

Looking like Brailey out for me. Possibly Leilua too pending team lists
Matterson and Watson also on watch lists but they may have to stick around

Have $270k in the bank so can afford some decent upgrades

Biggest problem is that my main upgrade targets are Crichton and Fifita and its not a good time to bring them in with origin and potential rests on the horizon

Taumalolo is a potential R17 trade in after dropping cash in R16

Not sure many other R17 players I'd be happy to bring in for the rest of the year. Only 8 trades left so its really just final 17 guns in at this point (existing bank + 1 more cash out should give me enough for a passable final 17)

Yeah - but some will have done it with fewer trades.

It will be the same as most years, there will be a lot of players with high ownership, but it will be rare to have the exact same team as many other people.

Some people won't have enough trades to get pappy back, or they'll miss out on 1 or 2 of the forward guns

anyone rate Koloamatangi as a pod? Looking for TPJ replacements and he fits the bill

* Has upside due to being in that stacked Souths left edge

* MID/EDG dual, and I'm desperately short of MID cover

* Decent price and low ownership

How hard would it be for you to get a gauge on the average number of Round 17 bye players each group has?
I imagine it might be fairly difficult - but if not, I'd definitely be curious (especially with such low available trades in the top 10)  

It’s super easy to do current number of Rd 17 players (once MTB updates ownership stats). Almost impossible to predict what trades will occur between now and then and therefore how many they have by Rd 17.

Hmmm....Laurie is a trade but something telling me I'll need him in round 18.

Hmmm....there's a good chance Walsh doesn't play 16, 17 and 18.

Had him for two weeks and he goes hard with a decent base. Only problem is he runs those decoy lines constantly, especially at the line when he's most dangerous. Feel like he's due a couple of charge overs, but nothing screams "good buy" and that's coming from an owner. 

The cover is nice though.

Yeah that's the main concern with him. I'm trying to find someone fairly cheap with high upside to replace TPJ with so I can free up money for selling Watson to Fifita in round 18 (and potentially cashing out Morgan Harper that week if I need to)

Yeah, it suddenly dawned on me afterwards.
I was thinking more inline with how many trades they would have left i.e. if averaging say 5 round 17 players but with only 7 trades left, then that gives an indication of how many they could afford to run. But yeah, I should probably get off my ass and work it out - maybe next week

Nathan Brown has regularly indicated he doesn't want Walsh to play every week in the NRL - I agree with Wolfy in that there's a fairly strong chance he misses all 3 rounds IF he is selected for Origin 3 as well.

Besides Kolo, can only see Brown or AFB being attractive around that price range w/o the dpp though.
