I could be slim on numbers if Cleary and Teddy were out in addition to Walsh and Curran. Although Curran is probably a trade since he's now not playing 17

All the origin players will back up unless injured...they don't need a rest as it's plenty of time until round 16...it's just like a normal week of league.

I dunno with Teddy being pretty banged up, and against the Storm where the game is a write-off.
And Turbo, against the Dogs, it's a write-off as well but in his favour.

out of curiosity, what’s the rugby league logic behind the rule that you can’t be run onside if you started in front of the play the ball (like Cam Murray last night)? Are they worried about attacking players hiding behind the defensive line and then springing an overlap, without the defence being able to number up?

I know it's late ... but
GO THE BLUES!!!!
Record setting winning margin in Game 1.
First time keeping the bloody cane toads to zero at Suncorp / Lang Park.
This is just the start of pay back for 10 years of misery.
Only 7 more series in a row boys and we'll be back to equal footing.
Time for Queensland to suck it up like we did.
IMO Vauntin is a flog, and saying the NRL should call off Game III because Queensland has no chance is a joke. Either he's showing no passion for his state, or he's showing everyone the true Queensland spirit - jumping up and down like they rule the world when they're winning and taking their bat and ball and going home sulking as soon as they lose.
SAD.

I'd say it stems from 100 years ago when the game was completely different (and possibly just copied from soccer where offside players can't get put onside at all) and they've just never bothered updating the rule book to remove it.

Navigate into the match centre and then click player stats. Scroll across to the right a bit and you'll find fantasy points.

https://www.nrl.com/draw/state-of-origin/2021/game-2/maroons-v-blues/
Player Stats > Select Maroons or Blues and scroll across to see "Total Points" which is their fantasy score

Was it 69? The first representative 69 of the year and Latrell's second 69 this year? If so, that's great stuff. Nice effort by Latrell.

Aside from the Blues' great performance, it's great to see them as such a tight knit group. Think the Penrith influence is really in there now with Luai and To'o. They seem to really enjoy each other's company and celebrate every moment in the game.
To'os tackle at the end which forced the error from Feldt looked like a series winning try the way the acted on it. Hope this Blues team can stick together for a long time, they're all in the low 20s as well.

This is the most exciting bit. I'm not going to run around declaring 10 in a row or anything, but we've got the potential for this NSW group to be a "team" for many years to come. And this was part of the reason for Queenslands dominance, yes they were loaded with some of the greatest players ever, but they were also able to create a situation where they were a team too. Not just a bunch of talented guys put together as a one off, but a group that played together year after year and that helped elevate them to the next level while NSW was on the selection merry go round.
A lot of these guys could easily play together for the next five years at least. And every year those connections will strengthen.

Not sure why you copped a downvote, you're dead on. Except for the bit about it being exciting.

Yep not sure if they can reach 8 in a row dynasty QLD type just yet. But it's just good to see them have a real go. Players like Latrell look a lot happier now too - that's what you want to see in your team
