NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 72 - Turbo-charged guacamole

Wow.
Here's a story for those that are a bit bummed this week. There's always some hope.
I started round 14 with rank 4607. Up to round 15 rank of 3871.
This round. Had Captain Tohu for 36 points and was a bit pissed with that. And the wow kicks in with a score of 1078 and up to 2264 rank.
Down side is I can't really do trades this week and with injuries my 6 for round 17 looks more like 3 playing. After that though I still have the team that's helping my rank recovery.

Average scores for this round before they recalculate:
Top 1000: 959.1
Top 100: 976.6
Top 10: 988

Brooks lost his TA and LBA for the Doueihi try.

Great to see the stats guys are rewarding trivial TA’s and not those that actually involve a level of skill.

Captained Tohu, played Simonnson but still managed to rise from rank 1177 and break into the top 1k at 937. Watson, Hunt and Haas big contributors to that.

Bit screwed for R17 but so is everyone now I'd think. Not many appealing options. Might look at Lolo or Jackson but otherwise probably going to focus on cash-outs and building bank for the big guns for the run home.

Haha fuck that’s like every senior player except the three Origin lads who I presume had already been told to get ready for their camps.

Vaughan will get suspended seeing he breached bubble rules last year. I think everyone else cops fines and suspended bans. Mainly because the Dragons won’t be able to field a team if they aren’t all banned.

I guess NSW cops might fine them 1k each as well

the Dragons who didn’t get an invite (aside from the Origin lads) are:

EDIT: Although the police fined 11 players excluding Vaughan. So one of these guys could be in the mix.

Unrelated but just watching Sharks-Broncos highlights. Enjoy that on the Katoa pass the video ref came up with a phantom knock on to call back the forward pass. How long until they let video refs decide on passes again. They are calling a whole bunch of other subjective stuff all the time, so why not?

Someone on Reddit posted that there was a 30 year old as well and the only 30 year old it could be is JDB

Wouldn't be surprised to see Townsend named on Tuesday. Its apparently a pain tolerance thing and he wants to play the sharks. He is a tough rooster, but surely common sense prevails.
