I picked him up this week for Cleary. Captained him, and am pretty happy with the prospect of him playing 18

Planned rd17 team:
Harris, Thompson, CHN, SJ, SWalker, Simo, Avo, Walsh, and Verrills.

Will probably lose Tohu and Simo. Walsh a maybe. But should have Lodge as a surprise inclusion

Great to see the stats guys are rewarding trivial TA’s and not those that actually involve a level of skill.

If they genuinely think that huge cut-out pass didn't create the try then they have no understanding of footy at all.
It was pretty much 2 on 0 when Doueihi caught the ball.

For some reason Brooks seems to get judged more harshly than others for try assists.

This isn't the first time a quality pass by him has been overlooked by stats guys. (or maybe I just notice him more because I watch more Tigers games)

Either way, its not worth tying yourself up in knots over fantasy stats. Too easy to find inconsistencies and drive yourself crazy

Why would you name Fifita. Just so the suspension counts for that game?

Qld team looks like a better team on paper, but still capable of being shredded by all of the fullbacks. Can't see HTF doing better than Capewell defensively, but at least has speed.

Assuming Molo comes in for Fifita.

Tolo is on the radar, Tempted to look at Egan and Garrick. An extra WFB will be useful if Teddy/Turbo/ gets rested.
