I'd confidently take a punt at the bookies he's back before Rd21. The Panthers physio update and seeing him on the ground and just his pedigree - he will want to be out there and if they avoided his surgery then that's a statement.

Captain Ipap for me this round. Can't ignore his recent form. 10 tackle busts and an average of 83 in his last three.

I agree mate. I also think that everyone playing with the 'I'll bring Cleary right back in' attitude after trading him out and making upgrade trades for the past few weeks will struggle to get him back without letting go of other guns.
I've got 638k in the bank ready to go and any one of Brailey, CHN, Matterson or Watson ready to be traded to Cleary.
The problem is that uncertain timeframe on Cleary's return. I don't have some of the 60+ guns like DCE, Hughes or Ipap so that could hurt me in the meantime.
I could trade one of them in and rely on cashing out Hynes in order to fund the Cleary return but I've only got 7 trades left so could be cutting it close.

Is 8 Rounds of IPap @ 60-70 worth 4-5 weeks of Cleary? Bring IPap in now, everyone else will be in the same boat

The sheer volume of my own posts during games drowns out my own posts.
Also they're mostly shit.

I didn’t even notice the reputation line & its relationship with posts until the conversation just now….only took me three years.
Just as well I’m witty, intelligent & fabulously good looking which I think shines through on my posts

If I had more trades up my sleeve I would be tempted bringing in AJ , with the Bunnies draw and our left edge on fire I think he is up for some more tries.

NP: Ryan Papenhuyzen is still working through neck issues that were found to be contributing to past ongoing headaches. Is currently strengthening up around his neck in an effort to be cleared to return to play. Still no specific return date, but doesn’t sound like Round 18 is a lock

I’ve started to wonder recently, could a office worker who plays a contact sport in the weekend and suffers a head knock be able to say to his boss id like a certain amount of time off due to concussion and it’s effect on my ability to work, or is it something in an NRL contract?
Note: I shouldn’t have to say this but I will, in no way is this comment an attack on the man.

I’m definitely in the “getting Cleary back by getting rid of other guns” category. My worst case is something like Fogarty and Moses to Cleary and 228k. I’d like to do better but I still think that’s worth it.

Because the head knock didn't happen at their day job, they really have no leg to stand on. Best they could do is get a medical certificate to take extended sick leave, if there is leave banked. If the knock comes at work then compensation comes into play. That's if they are full time. Casual it's tough shit. Don't turn up, don't get paid.

Yeah was talking to a mate about it the other day. Another avid fantasy player, was an interesting convo anyway.wolfking wrote:

I had a month off for this exact reason.
EDIT: As wolfie said, needed med certs for the time off but work was pretty understanding about it all.

Was it taken from sick leave mate?
I think it all comes down to who you work for really. Different organisations will handle things differently than others.
