Brooks and Moses played all but 1 game in the halves together.
Moses picked up more of Farah's kicking the Brooks did.

There was Moses mammoth 616 kick metres in round 11. That was the 8-0 game against the cowboys over origin. Given there were basically no tries scored in the match there was a lot more general play kicking from everyone.
Lachlan Coote kicked tor 482m in that game too.

But even ignoring those kick metres and the 2 tries in round 15, Moses still averaged 44. He just does a lot more with no Farah. Average touches per game went from 36 to 52 in those games. It was less than a third of his games, but generated half of his attacking stats for the year.

Halatau was starting hooker in these games and that I'm not sure having Cherrington there will have the same effect.

It's honestly a super scary proposition. Do you think having a weaker forward pack will affect him as well though?

Well in someways a wek forward pack isn't terrible as it means more big kicking.

The concern is if the Tigers are getting flogged, and spend all their time under the posts and not playing football. But I think they'll go OK to start the year.

Would certainly stuff me up compared to the pack if Moses bombed and JNiko went well.

O i was under the impression he would be a starter for you, so you would have him as well as the likes of Jniko and Taylor/hastings.

Then if he bombs and one of the other three goes bang you haven't really missed out on anything, other then moses being turd

Has anyone thought about taking a gamble on Cody Walker. I was thinking that to have Teddy I can only have one gun Hooker.
But not sure whether Parcell/Cherrington are worth the gamble. Then I thought I could put Jnik at Hooker (and hope Cam Smith doesn't get injured at all for the first six rounds)
and bring Cody Walker in. Thinking he may stick around as Keary is out of favour. If he goes alright against the Roosters can see him sticking around and play Knights at home in round 2 then Dragons away.
If he fails at least I know whether to bring Parcell in or just leave Jnik there. If Jnik going well I could trade him for someone cheap enough in any position bar centre.

Is it worth having a stab at Cody Walker?

Thoughts on Tyrone Roberts as mid priced half?

Got to see increase in value right? Should do most of the kick metres at Titans?

That's the main differential I'm seeing vs last year role at Knights where he shared metres with Mullen.

Arrgh, the closer we get to TLT and then lock out the more nervous I'm getting. So many decisions lol. my main decisions are:
FRF: which gun MCooper, Tolman, McGuire
2RF: which gun, Taupau, WGraham, Merrin
Half: Which mid: Roberts or Reynolds or now Moses as Milchy has pointed out.

Because its been asked a few times.

Price projections for a $130k rookie

    If they average 30
    $198k after round 5
    $227k after round 10
    peak at around $238

    If they average 35
    $222k after round 5
    $266k after round 10
    peak at around $278k

    If they average 40
    $248k after round 5
    $297k after round 10
    peak at around $318k

For me calculations an "average" of 30 meant scoring exactly 30 every week.
Now nobody is going to score exactly the same points each week, so prices will obviously fluctuate a bit around these values but the long term trends should be somewhat accurate.

The magic number will drop as the season continues, lowering the value or price rises. I have tried to cater for that in my calculations

    As a winger?

I understand he might get first crack at the goal kicking, but surely he'll be pretty limited in general play

I think they are going to try and fit him in somwhere... and yeah he'll probably only take on the goal kicking. Not sure if littlejohn is a kicker though for round 1

Yes he is. I would steer clear of Pauli Pauli. Would need attacking stats eg try every two games to get a serious bump in average I reckon.

Mataora is a worker but minutes and Paea/Stockwell in waiting.

At the moment my halves are DCE, Moses, Hastings, Taylor.

So if he bomb and JNiko (or some other cheap - mid ranger) fires then I should be able to swap without too much trouble. Just depends how long I wait before making the call (if I do pic kMoses I'd like to give him more than 1 or 2 weeks to justify the selection)

Can't see T Roberts making enough to warrant selecting him. For me he plays more like a 6 and don't be surprised if Ash Taylor eventually runs the team and dominates the kicking.

FRF: Neither, would prefer Jack Debelin, Graham or Woods.
2RF: Merrin has the most upside.
Half: I would choose Josh Reynolds followed closely by Brooks but not sure why you wouldn't just run 1 gun and three cows with the choices on offer.

I imagine Tyrone Roberts would dominate most of the kicking and maybe go up in value but you've got to remember one thing, he's Tyrone Roberts.

I can see the value in Merrin, but I would say Taupau would get increased minutes with Buhrer out and Parcell/Api taking an interchange spot. He has a solid ppm.

On the flipside Merrin is owned by less teams
