Yeah and I tried finding out what happened to Eisenhuth I asked someone on Twitter and a Penrith fan replied he played NSW cup yesterday.

Who knows what happens but if I had Leniu I’d hold one more week to see what happens as if he gets 35mins he could go at a ppm.

Tried to search but couldn't find... Billy Smith has the red cross next to his name. Did he actually get injured?

If so, I guess it'll have to be he and Russell on the chopping block this week if both out for a while. The Russell thing is a bit of a smack in the nuts if he's out for a while, as he got off to a real nice start.

Best part of my Fantasy weekend probably saved for last with Max King's score. Certainly bummed he was in my NPR, but I can cop that.

More points tossed aside captaining Fifita over Haas too. I hope I did the right thing, putting all that coin towards Fifita. Last year he was more or less first picked. This year, after Cleary got ruled out, I just wasn't feeling it but thought I should give him a go. I'm just worried he's now second half 2021 Fifita rather than first half of 2021 Fifita. Don't have that confidence in him anymore, but hoping he can restore it.

Anyway, mixed round overall. Billy Smith, Vailea and Ilias all garbage, and I missed out on some really good cows. Russell injury a real bummer too. On the flipside, stoked with Max King, Walters, Clifford and Haas.

The rest is what is... hoping for some of my alleged guns to turn things around next week. Did seem to be a pretty low scoring round, though, so I can't be too bummed.

NRL physio says he’s getting surgery tomorrow but should only be 3-6 weeks

Russell is 3-6 weeks range too IF it is the suspected rib fracture AND there’s no other internal damage.

Also not that it’s directly fantasy relevant, but Woods did his hammy. 2-4 weeks, might add a few mins on for JdB?

I think people just see “$300K starting half, I’m gonna make bank on this”

When in reality, so far, it’s just not good.

Fifita is fine, 50 odd after doing basically nothing.

Nah I spent my 300k in other places like Billy Smith, Ilias, JTB and other bad decisions Lol

Might bring him in still though

Billy was not concussed in the presser Robbo said he’s fine so I’d assume he plays next week. I had Max in EMG’s too mate.

How did you score for the round? Yeah Russell could miss 3-6 weeks NRL physio said which is unlucky. Fifita will be ok mate the draw gets easier the next few rounds, Parra marked him well and Titans had no ball all second half partly thanks to Atkins who gave them nothing. I’m still backing Fifita as the right decision.

Happy to look at some trade options for you as the week goes on.

On another note Penisini I was hoping would get a bit more ball but 32 is still solid I guess.

Despite a lower scoring round than I was hoping for, with 827, feeling pretty well placed for team structure, to be able to swap a few mid-rangers out for the ones that have exceeded expectation in round 1, or are likely to get opportunities through injury.

The best thing is that I feel I already have all the likely best really cheap players <$350k, except for Tago, who I probably just miss, so don't need to waste any trades bringing them in.

Hoping 3 trades used in the first 2 rounds gets me a team that I am really happy with.

Should be enough time for Grant to cement an 80 minute role and they will need Cheese for big minutes in the MID when he returns, with Welch out for the season.

I wonder if anyone entertains holding him for the price rises, hoping it's more three than six weeks? Wouldn't be wise, would it?

800 not so squeezy…..CTr Smith and Amone the low scores with Reed Captain. Lots of mid forties meh from Angus, LoLo, Reed etc which may need further examination.

Based on the history of Fantasy, if a half has job security, he'll likely get to at least 450k eventually regardless of whether he passes the eye test or not. Obviously some will get there faster than others, but the nature of the role and playing 80 minutes means the points will come eventually. Not too worried about him.

I can't remember if I asked that before as the Roosters vs Knights was the only match I drifted off to sleep a little in... but why'd he only play 53mins? Was it a head knock, or did he get hooked for being terrible? I should actually watch the replay if I get a second tonight.

I scored 819. Don't hate it, don't love it. Definitely room to improve next week.

Yeah, Penisini was one I was happy enough to pass on. Solid, no doubt, but much better ones I missed out on. Sad

Well captain Mahoney like many could have been worse but given the context of the points being scored it is what it is
Dodged most bullets and while scoring 826 I feel it's a pass and well setup for the next round
All the NPR's scored well and are earning with Ilias someone who should make money eventually and can sit there

Only bullet I copped was Simpkin but was a placeholder so worth a gamble and at 400k an easy trade
But something people forget is for every gun you didn't start with or was going to pick there is half a dozen cows you probably missed too
I had a lot of the usual suspects but decided to sacrifice a bit for depth and lessen the risk of a bad start here.
Sometimes the gamble pays off with alot of the cheapies looking like they will be playable (Some luck here)

    Potential trades:
Was going to grab JPaulo initially so might pick him up for WFB/CTR depth as its the only thing I am lacking and happy to promote Nanai into the 17 next week as passed the eye test

Happy to run Tago/Penisini as my centres and Berry/SCrichton in my back 5 for a while
Berry/Penisini looked good with little ball going their way so can't ask for a better floor given their price

Not concerned about Mahoney, DFifita while looking lazy scored well so will probably captain next week

Not sure what to do about Taumalolo, given all the talk of a slimmed down big minute forward (Even on the matty johns show a few days ago) it looks like some thought will need to be had here. Maybe look at him as a prop now? I feel like this is dejavu again
Could easily grab someone like Grant, a DPP like Curran or possibly Sexton
Plenty of time to think about it
