NRL Fantasy 2022 - Part 11 - Let's Gone Cowboys !

Wow, I'd resigned to just holding my team as is this week... Enter a casualty ward update at the end of the day and kazaam! Guess Vailea and Russell make way for maybe Perham and whatever other bottom dollar I can afford. Won't be able to afford anyone decent, will need wfb cover. Any news on how long Brimson is out, or was it just this week?

Really hoping Billy Smith gets a recall this week.

What's wrong with AFB? Plenty of guns missed their BE by a few points. Played 63 minutes. Will put up bigger scores. Was he injured?

Who's the highest ranked here after Round 1? Isn't it SI?

What are your planned trades for the week sire?

Can't afford Haas & J.King for Lolo & Fermor.
Have to stick with Curran & J.King.
Question for the stats peoples - do I stick with Fifita with the C or take a swing on Curran? 
Or. IPap for the Middles points?
Damn I hate not having Cleary as set and forget C.

Yeah don't trade AFB. He's gonna average 50ish, that's a very luxurious trade to make. Walsh back this week, they've played a bit together now, might get Walsh running off some AFB offloads.

Fifita had a quiet week (Literally, did bugger all and barely got the ball) and scored 50. Fifita everyday of the week.

Pookus mate, I ended up being 6th in the FOG.

I don't usually get involved in the finer details, but assuming Hayze Perham might possibly get the gig at the Eels tomorrow (I honestly have no idea, just assuming/hoping)... can anyone advise why on earth he is DPP CTR/HLF?

Just checked on MTB's site and the only games he's played in the last few years are at either centre, winger or fullback, aside from first two games in NRL from the interchange in 2019.

So why is he not CTR/WFB, which would be absolutely perfect to cover Vailea/Russell's departure?

If, he gets named. Absolutely no idea who actually will.

Yeah, cheers, he looks the goods. I only considered Burton in the Centre possie pre season. Brimson's return doesn't really affect him KM wise we shouldn't think would it?

This just popped up on my radar as I glance the possibilities for tomorrow. DPP CTR/WFB would be absolutely ideal for Russell/Vailea disposal. Always liked him as a player too, but hasn't done much after a decent showing at the Titans a few years back. But jeez he'd suit my needs perfectly in these early stages...

Absolutely nothing. Just verbalising some luxury trades with my Haas fomo. Will likely hold both him and Uto.

Might go Taumalolo - Yeo over Haas for the extra cash it allows

Still haven't heard anything on the JTB injury, but on the post game presser, Payten said a hamstring of some sort, lower down, sort of lateral, will need a scan.

Edit: Also I went back and watched it, it was about the 60 min mark, he dived at Dufty when he went through for his no-try.
