Even with his 31 last week I still wish I kept him rather than playing Nanais, Gilberts and Kings in my 17. Breakeven still only 45, priced at 43 points.

Crossland surely takes those minutes off him again though.

Articles on Warriors site saying Aitken definitely playing if that puts anyone's mind at ease

Trade wise I'm going a similar route as most people, probably

    Leo/Randall > Peoples/Robson

Could go to other options aside from Robson but not comfortable with Starling as my only HOK otherwise lol

Thats exactly what I said in round 7! But Crossland played off the bench and Randall still played 80 in R8. In round 9 Crossland was in the halves. I’m not saying it won’t happen, but I don’t think its a certainty he doesn't play the 80.

Teeth Eater wrote:Sorry doods, don't get to read too much at the moment, but looks to me like Max King not really a trade out target at all here this week? Randall and Tuilagi ahead of him in everyone's pecking order?

I'm second guessing it constantly, but for me, I'm looking at an order of this over next two weeks-

    Thompson
    Max King
    Randall
    Starling

And then Tuilagi, Edrick Lee and Walters depending on BE's at any given moment.

Am I wrong to be punting Max King now? As solid as he is - oh shit, mid post realisation. He plays R13 which is why y'all aren't punting him or Starling?

Taking R13 out of the equation as a H2H player, would you have Max King above the likes of Randall if R13 was of no consequence?

We don't really know if Potter will operate his rotations in the same way. You'd think the first week is fairly status quo, but who knows after that.

At some point you don't need a 40 point average player like King
But this year it's taking longer to move away from players like that. I'd tip that a lot of teams will drop Ming in R14 I.e. he might be on the menu already were it not for his likely bye round points

If you've got HOK cover, I'd probably still jump off Randall first, especially with Crossland in the bench.

It says a lot for persuasion here, the simple talk of Granville makes me uneasy about Robson just like that.

    Maybe Milf ? Lol

I’d love a Robson but my team has been grossly mismanaged from day 1 and funds are only allowing players from a few tiers below.

So I’ll be trying my luck with the Walsh’s, Butcher’s and Elliot’s of this world.

Somehow snagged Milf in my draft league, where HLF is my weakest position. I was running Keary (who was an embarrassingly high pick in the order for me) and Wighton.

I would never have the stones to do it in Classic, but its good to be back on the Milf train! Would love to see him bang out some 50s cheer

Magic number starting to go down over the last few weeks. R10 was the highest scoring round of the year. 9735 points for a magic number of 13594

None of the Cowboys 1-7 are getting dropped. They're playing excellently. However, sooner or later one of them is getting injured and Hammer comes in, which will probably bring Granville onto the bench. Also, Holmes as least and maybe Feldt or Tuilagi will be at Origin, so Robson might get reduced minutes in R13.

I'm finding him hard to ignore though, definitely seems a top 4 hooker with Cook, Grant and Mahoney. Hasn't even scored a try yet and he does have that in him.

PS, if the Cowboys do ever get a significant backline injury, Hammer could be near enough base price.

If Thompson is out this week that surely should help Ming.  Round 13 is the reason everyone is keeping him.  Plus he's a MID, a decent scoring MID, not a Leo MID.

Is Luke Thompson in doubt? I'd read Burton and JAC unlikely, but Thompson too?

Yeah, I've got rid of quite a few players before I should have this year and I also still see that potential for Randall to put up another decent score or two. You could probably say the same about Max King, I guess. Who knows? Very torn.

Yeah, I have HOK cover but side by side, I'd back Randall to score well again over King... but can think of no valid reason why. I'm hugely bitter towards both as I had them as uniques for the first time last weekend and both could be thanked for costing me a vital H2H win, against 16 players, with their shitscoring last week.

The other alternative is I cut Edrick before either of them, but with Pappy out I kind of need him, especially if Burton is out this week and Koula needs to cover a CTR spot.

Basically, it's a giant ball of fuckery.

It was my lowest scoring round of the entire year so far, by quite a bit. Basically made me want to pack it in the for the season, lol, but also kind of seriously.

Still pisses me off when I think about it.

All this talk of Robson but what about Mahoney for the same price?

54 average in the last 5 since that bad game against the Titans.

Hasn't got a risk I can see like Granville so your expecting 80 minutes from him
