Yeah, Luke T was named as being sent home ill from training earlier.

Who knows what the upshot will be. Still think (as a remote doctor) that TPJ was sick last week and not only fucked up my fantasy on the field but has had an extra shot at my team by infecting Burton this week.

Yeah not for many fantasy wise. Probably a combo of the popular captain options under performing, and a very high scoring (IRL) round meaning lots of points going around for fantasy redundant guys (think JWH and Oates)

54 average in the last 5 since that bad game against the Titans.

Hasn't got a risk I can see like Granville so your expecting 80 minutes from him

Like this shout, I think the proximity of round 13 makes robson appeal, but def can’t go wrong with Mahoney- he’s scores are impressive

Thats exactly what I said in round 7! But Crossland played off the bench and Randall still played 80 in R8. In round 9 Crossland was in the halves. I’m not saying it won’t happen, but I don’t think its a certainty he doesn't play the 80.

I think with addition of Milf, they are trying to nail down 2 80 minutte halves and using Crossland as the hooker relief

Mahoney for Starling seems the perfect post Rnd13 trade. Hopefully Starling can scoot over for a try and not lose much cash in next couple of weeks.

That's what I had nailed on mate, barring a Grant injury Mahoney won't make origin will he?

I wonder if Sticky is vindictive enough to bench Elliott because he got wind he was leaving for Newcastle. Elliott’s partner Millie Boyle was announced as a Knights signing today and reports were that they were chasing him as their Barnett replacement. Quite the narrative I am constructing here, but the pieces do fit well. Im still thinking I keep a trade free in case he turns up in the 13 jersey on gameday.

My league doesn't play in byes anyway and despite my decent ranking I want to focus on leagues.

Have even thought about just going for Reynolds passing on hooker cover. Only got 810k so miss all the big guns.

Idk just can't seem to trust Robbo's forward rotations man

Need to work out a mid ranger forward (DPP doesn't worry me just need either one) for my h2h team, really stuck at the moment.

Who do you guys think would be the buy out of Butcher, Graham or Cheese??

Butcher: Gun scorer when given opportunity, hard to trust Robbos rotations
Wade: Avg 40+ scorer on the edge, only real concern is his HIA's and injuriess
Cheese: Not scoring very well this year, but has the best upside with his try scoring ability

A lot of popular guns underperformed (Grant, Teddy, Lolo, Haas etc.) while a lot of lower owned guns got big scores (Cook, Munster, Cotter, Matterson, Robson etc.). Also Aitken and Elliott being out stretched the depth of a lot of teams.

I managed to get a Doordash voucher because of that perfect storm, since I don't own any of Grant/Teddy/Lolo/Aitken and own Cook, Munster and Cotter. I did get trapped by Elliott though

I don't think Sticky's job is secure enough that he can afford to be vindictive and bench a bloke that, fantasy aside, will improve his team's actual performance.

That said, I love your narrative....so yes Ricky definitely did that.

There's 272 players that take the field each week. Sometimes its the non fantasy relevant players that score the points

I agree Drinkwater is rather safe for now. I'm keen on Robson. But if 1-5 go down injured HTF is straight in. If a half goes down, HTF to FB and Drinkwater to half. Granville probably still the best utility to come onto the bench. And if that happens, I absolutely expect Payten to give Robson a rest here and there if he gets the chance. I would. Still fairly keen on Robson though.

On this flu problem I remember in the good old days you just sweated it out & played none of this I can't train cause I have the sniffles business.

For someone who has the flu very bad currently I can't agree with this. I can't even walk to the fridge without feeling like I have a heart attack or am going to pass out from being dizzy let alone suiting up for a football game. Not to mention slept 16 hours yesterday.

He must have been sick. It's the worst "non-injury" performance ever. And they're not gonna admit it before or during the game. And after the game they had bigger problems. And the flu is not not a cold people. Flu put me in bed for a week. Covid gave me a burny/snotty nose/throat for a few days. Would explain having no energy. Hope Burton and Ming play, would really fuck with my trades.
