If there’s an outside back injury, Hammer starts - yes
This means Granville is on the bench again cutting into Robsons min - err why? Wouldn’t they just get another back on there - Hampton, Elliot, etc?

That's exactly the point I was trying to make last night.  Robson loses 80 minutes by default just because a back gets injured?  I don't buy it.

I remember needing 20 points from Robson in 2020 to win my Eliminator matchup and he got 16

He’s great while playing 80 but not so much without it

I know on form he should be, not questioning that, but will he actually be picked?

I'd have thought on form/reputation/past selections it's something like:

    8. Papa
    9. Grant
    10. Tino
    11. Kaufusi
    12. DiFi
    13. Arrow

    14. Hunt
    15. Collins
    16. Mofo
    17. Carrigan/Capwell/Cotter

Again, I think Cotter deserves a spot in there, I'd pick him, but I wouldn't be wholly surprised if they go Carrigan or someone instead.
I would expect Tino or Carrigan at 13, Cotter or Tino at 10, Arrow 12, Fifita bench impact.
Can't see Arrow as a starting MID ahead of any of Papa, Tino, Carrigan or Cotter, can't even get that role in his club team, while the others are locked in starters every week as MIDs.

Hammer literally took Granville's spot on the bench, how can this not be the apparent change if the above happened? You can ignore it if it makes the decision more manageable, but I am def including it in my decision-making.

The more we talk though the more I think it's worth. Worst case can just trade him out again, costs a trade.

Granville is horrible, I think we all agree on that.

Hmm. Aitken I think is a touch overpriced. Robson always has the risk of going back to 60 mins. Cotter likely to play Origin. The more I think about it, the more I think it's worth grabbing a couple of cheapies this week and waiting on Tohu next week if I'm going to gun up.

I've seen some mail from Tim Williams posted on one of the Discords I frequent, take it with a grain of salt but it's promising:

    * Tuponiua out - Butcher probably gets 80 on the edge
    * Elliott starting lock, CHN bench and Rapana goalkicking. Woolford starting.
    * Warbrick a chance of starting on the wing, depends where Meaney/Wishart play

He'd retain a bench spot at least. A lot depends on Hughes too.

Tim is decent. To McInnes or Butcher... That is the question. Basically it's Leo v Tuilagi out.

Same dilemma....I think reluctantly (although I wish it wasn't the case) think Tuilagi has to go first.

The addition of Naden to the roster, and the run on team according to Madge on NRL.com, probably means that Garner gets a break from filling in at centre and gets to start for a while

I think Kelma need lots of mins to get a decent score and while he only needs 25ish to hold price I think it's postponing the inevitable.

Thompson is probably going to score 25 from the bench and not lose a lot of cash so the urgency isn't there

    From DT late mail

The NRL-flu has rocked the Raiders with up to eight squad members struggling and Ricky Stuart unaware who will be available to play until 24-hours before kick-off.

The club have segregated the sick players from the healthy squad members leaving coach Ricky Stuart unable to complete a full-team training session ahead of a clash with the Rabbitohs on Sunday.
