Butcher on edge is better for fantasy than in MID rotation IMO

Also indicating that Schneids isn't coming back in a hurry

'I will need him at some point this year and he needs to be refreshed' (Ricky paraphrased)

I think people are missing the point re Granville/Robson. Its not that Granville will "take" minutes off Robson, its just that a good team can afford to not flog their hooker for 80 mins every week. I'm not saying it will happen, but whatever you think of Granville, he is always there or thereabouts, was 18th man two out of the three weeks he missed out.

Its similar to Lolo being given a rest last week. Payten has shown he doesn't stick to a set of rotations, it changes every week. Some guys will be given rests and others will play extra mins here and there.

I don't think it should put you off Robson as he'll probably score a 90 odd soon to make up for the week or two he gets given a breather.

This is the DT late mail bit on the roosters

Sitili Tupouniua is expected to be a big out for the Roosters who have already lost Victor Radley for an extended period. Tupouniua failed to finish the clash with Parramatta after a failed HIA. This gives Trent Robinson a few options around team dynamics, however I expect Nat Butcher to shift to the edge and Sio Siua Taukeiaho to lock, meaning Lindsay Collins would start at prop. Drew Hutchinson is again expected to start at hooker come kick-off, with Connor Watson playing off the bench. Egan Butcher is likely to be the man to join the bench.

Hmm making me think maybe I should prioritise Butcher over McInnes?

Matto is exactly 763k so that's a good sign

I've been flip flopping between him and Cotter all week (it's really only $20k difference) mainly because I would like a back up hooker for when I say goodbye to Randall next week, but they both have their risks with minutes rotation, origin etc (and I get the feeling if buying Cotter now I might as well save up for Grant)

Maybe the answer to the Cotter/Robson question is actually Mcinnes

I think I am happy trading Peoples in for BroJo as he's been deadweight the last few weeks.
Just got to hope Peoples gets some big attacking stats in his time on the park and similar mins to Host

Means I can also upgrade one of Tuilagi, Penisini or Luki to McInnes (already have Robo).

Leaning towards one of Tui or Penis due to Luki playing RD13 and probs go Penisi due to my abundance of CTR and his high BE.

Will then bring in Butcher for Tuilagi next week if he looks the goods this weekend

Its the same for pretty much every player. Almost nobody plays 80 minutes every single week. Everyone gets a rest at some point, whether due to HIA or just coach giving them a break.

Robson should get plenty of big minute big scoring games, and a few lower scoring efforts in there. Just have to make your best guess at the overall average over the season and then jump on if you think he's good value.

Don’t know why I’m finding it hard to part with Talakai, are most holding or selling? I suppose if I can bring in McInnes and Butcher for he and a dead cow in Thompson it’s a no brainer right?

Could do this also, just means I can’t get McInnes this week, would only be able to do Coates to Butcher as second trade. Do you think I should bring in Matto over McInnes though?

Matto is much better than McInnes. He's dual position, much more attacking upside, and one of the biggest beneficiaries of the offload scoring this year, as Parra throw so many offloads and he's no exception.

McInnes is fine but he's very meat and potatoes, you won't feel bad for not owning him but you will feel bad not owning Matto the way he's going.

I like that move. Hmm, Talakai and Tuilagi to Matto and McInnes is rather tempting.

after looking at Robson and Mahoney considering potentially rolling the dice with Starling with no cover.

TU: Coates Randall to Matterson Peoples
TD: Coates Tualigi to Mciines Peoples

or should i just go back to bringing in Mahoney/Robson for Randall

His Raiders mail is usually pretty good (considering his brother is Sam Williams)
