I will give Matt credit where it’s due.
I have noticed more recently that he is often adding in an “I expect” into his statements.
They are reading much less like facts as they were previously.

I like the trades but just note that L. Leilua could be out so Tuilagi will probably start.

I listened to that, but you must've heard/interpreted something completely different to me;

Walters says he needs to work on his defence; it's probably not NRL standard and there's a risk good teams will cut him to ribbons

Walters says he's got talent; TBH the Bronco's arguably have the best nursery for talent in the comp - I'd be surprised if anyone coming through doesn't - the kid can run - which is great in QLD cup where teams don't have the defensive intensity or structures to shut down a nimble runner...

Walters says he's still learning his craft; He's a spine player who's not NRL ready... he may give him a chance and some game time where the stars align (e.g. star halfback is out, playing against potential bottom 4 team etc)

TL:DR - If he was a straight up selection rather than the result of a withdrawal to their key player while on a winning streak, then rational people might take a closer look

Yeah Tuilagi's body is pretty busted which affects his mins so there's an option to sell. He'll be gone rd 13 as well for many who will sell him then anyway.
