You can feel sorry for them to a point but the Warriors could have been back in NZ a couple of weeks ago. The Wellington Phoenix have played in NZ, so have Australian teams from Super Rugby.

The Warriors chose early on this year to base themselves in Queensland for the whole season and are only flying to NZ for their Auckland games, then flying back to Queensland. For reasons they must have thought through, this was decided to be better than a permanent return to Auckland as soon as they had the chance. They recruited players knowing some of them have never lived in NZ, maybe never even been there.

I think they should have returned to NZ as soon as the border reopened. There's a lot of the season left.

I'd be reasonably confident that if Paix started and played the first 30min and Walters came on after that, it would make absolutely zero difference to the number of points the broncos score. They're both sub-par hookers.

pretty much. i do think Paix is better at getting us going forward, but he's still average.

Surely people don’t whinge about missed TB’s

Interesting stats. Probably haven’t paid enough attention to understand why the skew. Maybe Paix shoveling to Reynolds who has been running everything so well. Walters has looked lively at times but  maybe he goes off piste a bit.

Lodge is another player I refuse to have in my fantasy side. I can't believe he is allowed to play NRL after what he did. My official shit list:

1. Latrell - obvious reasons
2. CWalker - Same as above
3. Lodge - as above
4. Starling ruined my 2021 season and Christmas
5. Feldt - Fakes inuries like a soccer player
6. JAC - Same as feldt

Coates is definitely out, so it's a call between Butcher + 230k (probably to target Harris) or Robson/Cotter? I was leaning towards Butcher, but wonder if I'm better off getting the gun now and waiting for RFM? Anyone want to sway me?

A second hooker rather than another MID/EDG is probably better for squad balance too, since I've been running without backup all year.

Anyone here rate Campbell Graham as a CTR keeper?

I've got my eye on him because I need a CTR at some point and won't be able to afford Burton or Aitken with a single trade, whereas I likely will with Graham (BE 46, currently priced at 578k)

42.4 average currently, likely to play round 17 (if he plays Origin odds are it's only game 1) and has recently moved from the right side to the left where all the good stuff happens. Hasn't scored a try since round 5 and his 5 game average is 40 despite that, he has pretty solid base.

Any major downsides with him?

TU: Coates to Butcher + 230k bank
TD: Coates to Robson

We aren't a very good team at the moment.

Anything over a 40 average is a keeper centre IMO. Although if it were me I'm probably getting Lomax for the same price.

Yup, my WFB depth has taken a hit in the last few weeks with Pap and Coates traded out, so running Hynes/Crichton/Koula with Taaffe as cover.
