Why doubt Cleary as captain? The Roosters are far from a top team this year and even as a supporter I expected they'd have our number and Cleary would probably shred us.

It hasn't even been Cleary doing the shredding. He's tackled and kicked. Luai's been the main weapon, with Yeo also key, but Cleary ticking along the fantasy points.

Not so much doubting Cleary. It's just Hynes been going great guns in the halves, I guess also past couple weeks Cleary not scoring as good also lol.

Fair enough. My logic with Cleary is simply he cost too much for me to want to C anyone else and he's not someone I'd ever like to play captain roulette with e.g this very game.

Using the Butters method, Cleary will average 100 from now on since he's only averaged 60 until this point and will naturally end up with an 80 average by the end of the season.
