Wow. Nice. I'm bringing him in for some cash (won't say who for, for the backlash from Overallers) and was second guessing myself about him or Palasia. Gone with Pole for the lower BE and knowledge that I can possibly still get Palasia next week, also, if required. But really hoping this Pole fella hangs around for a while, as in, hopefully, the rest of the season.

Diving at the ball on the deck though? Didn't think you could
tackle ruck receiver soon as he gets hands on the ball if they start square at marker yes?
Never mind though, boys need to be more streetwise, need a longer heel on the play the ball and need to walk through the marker.
Still beat last years champs though and boys only played handful of league matches, still learning the ropes

There used to be a rule that when the player playing the ball the ball on the deck the marker could rake for it with his foot, but not pick it up with their hands.
We had a move called “Blue”. The whole team would yell “one hit up for Blue”. The big prop would take the hit up, put the ball on the ground but instead of playing it would turn around and yell “what the hell is blue”. The plan was the market would dive on the ball and we’d win a penalty.
Before the game the coach even asked the ref “ if a player picks the ball up in the play the ball, it’s a penalty” to make sure we got the penalty.
As teenagers we had a fun old time practicing it. First time we tried it in a game, the prop dropped the pill. Never tried it again.
