Thinking of going Penis + RFM > Matamua + DCE

Will cover Cleary nicely this week and give me a chance to let Lee and Koula hopefully make a bit more money and get Teddy + Cashout next week.

3+4 trades left after this week's double.

Have you considered Dookickey over Teddy for run in in the WFB. Saves you 200k for someone who averages more in current role.

Could help you turn some sub guns into mega guns in last few weeks

Would you say Nanai to someone like Klemmer is too sideways?

Only have 16 and Nanai is probably the only guy I really want to trade out of my non-playing guys. I can probably fund Brailey to Cook if I do that as well.

Tempted by Doueihi but just wonder what will happen if the Hastings Lock experiment only lasts one or two weeks. Would be a disaster if you trade him in and then he's back to centre in a couple weeks and you're stuck with him.

Mulvy wrote:There are some notable players missing from my team, DCE, Teddy, Murray, Haas, and Grant. I won't be able to get all of them.

Ted is scary to not own, but with Hynes, Pappy, Mitchell I could probably risk going without.

Murray is expensive and I might be able to get another one of these guys in if I get say Haas instead.

I don't really need DCE with Cleary Moses Hughes, but I want him still.

Haas should be a bargain soon. Grant will be relatively cheap and with Cheese possibly missing seems compelling as well.

How would you guys order the importance of these players? Cheers.

Because you already have 3 keeper level WFBs I think the best way is to play it straight and ignore position

In that case I think top 3 in no particular order are DCE, Grant, Haas.

Teddy could ruin everything with a few back to back monster scores but has generally needed big TBs to score.

DCE is the baseball equivalent of a 5 tool guy. He is probably the best defensive half in the comp and can put up bulk scores using all categories

Haas will meat and potatoes his way to a 50 floor most week but will occasionally throw in a bulk offload, tb or attacking stat game

Grant terrified me every time he touched the ball as a non owner. If Cleary didn't exist, Grant would get a lot more praise as one of the best players in the game. Averages 60 as a starting hooker over a decent sample size

Murray has always had fantasy potential but seems a step below the other 4 for mine purely due to his durability. If a bottom 1 team was to play him 80 minutes week in week out he would be a fantasy star for the 6 weeks his body holds up. I think it's more likely he gets 65 minutes on average for a 55-60 average

    1. DCE
    2. Grant
    3. Haas
    4. Teddy
    5. Murray

    Judiciary is weird.
Claims Smith said "fucking cheating pussy" which Smith says no, he said "Cheating bastard".
I thought the audio of "cheating bastard" was pretty clear, no idea where the former has come from wtf haha

Making some moves this week since I have 8 (+4) trades left

Clarke to Booth (This is a huge risk but fuck it)
    Nanai to Klemmer
    Brailey to Cook

Last glaring hole in my team is Hastings in the halves. Hoping he can score well at lock for a while to make a cheaper upgrade.

Any possible trade ins that feel like they could be more up for a rest in later rounds

Ladder is tighter in top 4 and top 8-10 than recent so I think we might see less rests

Maybe the ref's complete a match report and that's what Gee thought he'd said??

NRL counsel asking for a minimum of 4 weeks - seems disproportionate to some of the other things you get less weeks for.

Is being called a cheat hugely worse than being called incompetent? (just thinking back to the occasional presser)
The first most rational people would take as a reaction without genuine meaningful basis, the second seems a genuine attack on someone's, well, competency.

I can see panthers resting a bunch rd 24 home against warriors before North Queensland in 25 then finals,  games 19-23 are a tough run and reckon they might freshen up

Btw this is complete speculation for discussion, please don’t anyone base decisions of this

I think I'm looking too much at points this week over long term team make up.

I've got no hooker cover since I dumper Cotter and Robbo Shocked

Team features some guys on apparent fantasy downslope Harris/Friz/Garner. Potentially Elliott if only playing 50 minutes.

Do I need to look elsehwere with trades this week? Before trades I've got 4 + 4 trades and $566,000 bank

    Cook
    Lolo, Barnett, Yeo
    Crichton, IPap
    Moses, Cleary
    Garner, Penisini
    Hynes, Papy, Latrell

    Elliott
    Friz
    Harris
    To'o

    Koula
    Mam
    Lee
    Trindall

Guys I definitely want for run are DCE, Haas (at current price)and a top line CTR. Guys I would like Burton, Cotter, Doohickey if back to huge scoring half role.

Current proposed trades have me at

    To'o - Doueihi
    Penisini - Burton
    Mam - DCE

I think, re-looking at the trades I probably need to find a stronger CTR option than Garner over chasing Doohickey, this might mean having to bypass Burton and his mega price and getting 2 of the next tier (Manu and Bird) or getting Burton and running Koula maybe?

Think I'm going to need to get some advice on these trades moving forward? Maybe just the 1 big time CTR and run Koula? Would mean i save the trade for later upgrade of Harris - Haas?

Hate to give you advice which will let you overtake me, but you don't need Douehi right now, you need two centres (including Burton).
