Don't have Kayo, so not watching, but Hudson Young is on 16 in 60 mins.
    Is there a reason?
If he was my POD Edge I'd be pretty ticked off at that effort.

Maybe I'm just a little old-school, but as far as I can tell teams select and sign contracts for their top 25 - 30 (depending on the cap rules).
If your team management has resulted in you being low on backs, or forwards, or spine for that matter - that's on the management of the team and head coach.
The Knights have been without 1 or 2 of their spine players all season - they don't get to just loan a player from another team because it suits them.
TPJ to the Panthers last year was a BS move. The Storm trying to pick up Walsh is even more so a dog-act. As is the Roosters picking up Lodge.
IMO if you pick up a player mid-season (or for the final 6 rounds) you should have to pay them for at least the next year on contract.
Same goes the other way - if a player (like Lodge) wants to play for the Roosters, he should have to sign a minimum length contract (1-2 years). This will stop the merry-go-round of player managers getting their players into contenders for a short (cheap) contract before going on to a different team for their big payday.

I don't particularly like these high profile mid season signings but I can at least see why the Storm want it.

From our top 30, we have Papy, Gennings, Coates and Reimis Smith all injured, and at full strength, all four of those guys would be starting.

You can only have so much outside back depth in your top 30, any team losing 4 of their starting back 5 would be having trouble with depth.

Has there ever been a successful strategy that relies on taking off one of your halves after 65 minutes? We're losing this for sure, as predictable as can be.

I can see why the Storm want extra players due to their injury crisis - but as a Knights fan, when we "won" 3 spoons in a row, we were forced to blood forwards like the Saf twins, way before they were ready for NRL.
The Storm would have young backs in their extended team who they could blood this season - yes they would make errors and yes the Storm would probably lose more games, but that's the nature of the NRL.
This high profile mid-season signing culture just reeks of teams being dodgy.

Strange one, watching he’s not had many runs and not been hugely involved, warriors had a lot of possession first half

Turnover for Aitken changed to a penalty because of an inconsistent moron in the bunker.

Perhaps playing Walsh over Kennedy thinking he'd get 50ish minutes was perhaps my smallest brain move in my entire fantasy career

    Fuck I played Walsh.

Thank you very much Stacey Jones, you've ruined my season. Why can't nice things happen.

Kennedy could still get minus 7.
