It’s actually a nice looking jersey. Pretty understated. Could’ve easily gone overboard with colour everywhere, like a rainbow vomit. Kinda like I find most of the ANZAC round ones end up - just too busy and tacky looking. I’d be more inclined to not play in those tbh

Yeah just gonna run the gauntlet. If Gagai goes down no biggie, if Burton goes down I'm fucked anyway

For me I blame Boozecluez. when I started taking this seriously I read one of his old season trackers and he pretty much max traded then rode the gauntlet to a top 50(?) gaining ranks every week and benefitting from the earliest assembly of his optimal side

Every time I try it I end up gunning it too… until about R23, then the red dots mount and by R25 I’m playing with 13-15

I tried a similar thing this year, it all went pear shaped in round 13 and hasn't recovered Very Happy

Is a premeditated homophobic decision worse than an off-the-cuff homophobic outburst that Montoya got banned for four weeks for? Real can of worms for the NRL.

From Manly's POV, they won't but they'd be well within their rights to sack them. Nobody is forcing or even asking the 7 to do anything they don't want to on their own time, it's wearing a shirt for a couple of hours while they're at paid work. Plenty of people have jobs with dress codes or uniforms. You don't like it? In the words of Don Draper, "that's what the money's for."

    Report on
    @NRLonNine
that Jarome Luai could be out for up to 6 weeks with a knee injury. Recently seen in a brace, think injury occurred while scoring try near full time. Video brings concern for MCL injury, timeline above would suggest grade 2 sprain (usually 3-6 week recovery)

Jesus was known to hang out with all the minority groups in society (prostitutes, samaritans, drunks, tax-collectors, zealots, lepers, etc), I wish his followers would be more inclusive like that.

I reckon about 90% of my fantasy inspiration this year has been from boozey's old TT threads haha (the other 10% is MS who is the good angel on my other shoulder). I genuinely think it's a great strategy, you just need a healthy dose of luck. In my personal circumstance I've got a good rank that's nothing to write home about, been 1500 +/- 500 ranks every week since round 6, so I think the risk/reward ratio is in my favour

Salmon in? O'Sullivan seems more of an own-brand Cleary type, but I guess we'll see with teamlists. Either way not that fantasy relevant other than Cleary having to do even more.

Salmon would be a pretty sexy cash out if it went that way... except he's another HLF.

I had the same thought that SOS probably too similar to Cleary in theory. Falls no chance, I assume?

And I'm not across the whole Manly thing too much. Is Koula potentially out this week, but back next week? As weird as it is, that'd actually be ideal for my H2H scenario, so he can't lose money this week and I can consider the trade wisely next week. Otherwise I'm worried he becomes something grotesque like Mbye this week...

Falls got hooked (don't think there was an injury) in their R18 game so I'm thinking probably not.

Decided to go all out, leaving only 1 trade for any major injury. Hoping this pays off with a top 1000 spot.

    My team after the trades:

    Cook
    Klemmer Tapine Yeo
    iPap Crichton
    Cleary DCE
    Burton Bird
    Mitchell Tedesco Hynes

    Haas Robson MKing RFM
    Mbye Matamua Volkman Rushton

It’s my first season ever doing fantasy (in any sport), and thanks to everyone on this forum for all the help, I learnt a lot about what not to do from you guys Re: NRL Fantasy 2022 - Part 66 - Couch Party - Page 43 1f61c Re: NRL Fantasy 2022 - Part 66 - Couch Party - Page 43 1f61c Re: NRL Fantasy 2022 - Part 66 - Couch Party - Page 43 1f61c
