    Just realised I have the 'go big or go home' option:

    E Butcher -> Preston

    Cheese -> Hynes

    That's tempting.

    Rank 5 - has 8 Storm players, can catch them on their bye round.

    Rank 7 - team includes Leniu, Price, Arthur, Russell and Paix

    Amazed at how few players I have in common with all of them, and is typically more that they are really POD, not that I am.

    For me probably

    Cheese to Preston
    CNK to Walsh

    But like others super dependent on Boyd and Trindall so we shall see what tomorrow brings

    Surely you can do a bigger upgrade than Leo with $770k bank remaining? Defeats the purpose of trading Cleary, to free up lots of cash.

    Yeah I can do but I think Leo's going to gain a heap in value and he'll be a good stepping stone soon.

    I could go Tohu, but I just can't see him keeping an 80 minute spot.

    Also aware that I want to keep bank there so that I can bring Hynes/Cleary in when they're ripe, rather than getting stuck without

    If I was a gambling man, I’d think another week of Trindall is more likely than Hynes back

    Probably be Hynes in #20

    Unless you already own Grant, I would probably just go Cook instead of Hynes and be done with hooker for a while.

    If I had played Alamoti over Talau and Preston over Boyd, both of which were seriously considered, I would be sitting just outside the top 100.

    Have a team capable of quickly catching up with these guys, especially since I am already planning towards the Origin bye rounds.

    Last game of the round if you have no HLF cover could be scary

    Scarier still is Trindall on the bench for 5 minutes at the end of the game.

    What would you do if your son was at home crying all alone on the bedroom floor cause he's hungry and the only way to feed him is to sleep with a man for a little bit of money
    this was your team. $300k itb

    Personally I'd get up on my feet, and let go of every excuse.............and by that I mean sort out your centre and halves (pending TLT obviously and whether Boyd is dropped and others are injured).

    Seriously, every single one of us could say the same thing.  This happens to the majority of teams every week. I challenge one single person to be able to say they have played the right 17 every week.

    luckily Katoa plays early so if he puts up a decent score its an easy loop in.

    Ah shit! Half is the only position I don’t have cover for this week. I’ve got my fingers crossed for a Hynes Rd 7 return if the Sharks are going okay.

    I personally think Trindall is fine for another week with Sharks winning R2

    Fitzgibbon press conference basically said Hynes calf isn’t a major injury but there’s a high re injury risk if not treated properly which lines up with PYTM post the other day

    I reckon if Schuster is named this week Boyd > Schuster might be on the cards, although waiting a week to watch and see might be smarter, breakeven 35 so shouldn’t move too much in price either way
