But also is that Jason Williams the winger or Jason Williams the former Canberra/Souths prop who was not someone to fuck with?

He makes a lot of tackles, in the top 3 for Titans players each game this season. The narrative is that he 'does nothing' but his base stats are up there at the higher end compared to other edge forwards. eg he is basically avg the exact same tackles/run metres as IPAP to start this season (small sample etc). Its the expectation that he will run through gaps palming off blokes game after game, but he is  the most marked up player in their team.

    Big games will come, obviously.

This is the best, most balanced take on Fifita I've read.

Interested to hear people's expectations for Walsh for a season average.

I have him at mid 40s, without kicking and goal kicking, a massive step up from last season, and his breakout massive rookie season, which calculated to 38 points per game under today's point scoring. That places him below keeper tier, similar to Miller for more cost, probably playing origin.

Are others expecting him to average low 50s the same as he has started the year, which would mean a 20+ try 20+ assist year?

I had him at mid 40's. But it's okay to be wrong. He could go on a 50+ Papenhuizen type run. Like all wfb's there will be highs and lows. We'll see. I could get him still, but with Ted, Turbo, Miller it's probably overkill. Although playing Warbrick with Teddy out next week doesn't inspire confidence.

How does TPJ come into the dogs squad? Who does he take minutes from?

Currently have Sutton and do not have Preston.

Kiraz if you want to average 45pts +
Walsh if you want to average 45pts + (for cheaper)

    The answer is Sloan

Nice. It's funny how all the oxygen gets sucked out sometimes and we end up not talking about the plethora of other options around.

The prop you don’t wanna f*ck with haha.

He coaches Marist juniors in Auckland now, bet they don’t give him any cheek lol.

Don’t wanna end up like Jeremy Smith 😳

    Lets fix that for you.

Kiraz - if you want a secure base of 35+ points each week, upside of a banner, with a 50 average if the Bulldogs suck this season, and significant upside if they don't suck, and as a winger he gets a decent number of tries this season.

Walsh - if you want a 45 average, unless you think he can have a Turbo 2021 like season, to average low 50s.

The answer may still be Sloan.

Walsh and Turbo not a very good comparison. Totally different players who get their points differently.

Yes, the nice base is the reason I brought him in this week.

Sloan has scored twice in 2 weeks, and Warbrick hasn't scored yet. Seems to be the sor of trade where oce you make it Sloan will go on a dry spell and Warbrick will get a few tries.

In general Sloan seems more involved, so might still be a winning trade

Just annoying as Sloan was in a lot of draft teams all pre-season, then seemed to leave them all for round 1 (I guess jitters about starting with a round 1 bye player? Trust in Talau/ITT/HSS/Warbrick instead?)

The bye didn't help, but Sloan was pretty terrible in the Charity Shield.

Yeah but anything could happen. Pre season RFM was an edge now he’s a middle
