In standard vernacular the two are used interchangeably.

A clock is by definition simply any device used to display time. So you'd still be incorrect, as the one who introduced the word clock, you would need to specify "some broken clocks are right once a day, and some are right twice".

If you really wanted to get specific, the correct saying is a "stopped" clock is right twice a day, because a digital clock with a broken screen is right zero times a day.

Playing both again this week with HSS tanking. Hopefully redemption stories for both.
