Pretty much my plan as well. Carrigan would be a better out but don't have the mid coverage to support it.

Yep Carri Haas Hopgod my only 3 mids. Carrigan and Dfifi are pretty similar scorers too, other than Fifi has a higher ceiling and a lower floor imo. Carrigan a consistent 57-62 scorer.

Getting tempted by the sultry goodness of a continuously wet haired Hynes and his ultimate fantasy prowess, but I think the best thing for my squad is to wait for a round 7 tri-trade.
I could rip my team apart to get him in(tempting) but we're only 5 rounds into a long season.

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade per se, but I feel like I need to be the voice of reason.

Yesterday was Hynes' 3rd highest score ever. Last year when he scored 132 he followed it with a 44.

I'm not saying he's not worth having, he's a clear must by seasons end and could well be the highest averaging player, but probably best to not rip your team apart for a guy who's unlikely to replicate yesterday and has a bye coming up.

With that said I'm not your Dad so do what you want, just needed to be said!

    Agreed...
My plan leading into this round was to get JBrailey in for Boyd.
I'll probably go couch shopping this week mind you.

Frawley has both a 1 point and 2 point field goal in NRL match centre

I got 894 and was the only one under 900 in L3. Also 3 who cracked the 1000.

Absolutely agree. Tbh I'd rather have a Cleary who can get chalk up and 80+ with nought but a try assist and a field goal plus a swag of base stats. The talk about DFifi out is more about team balance and picking up underpriced guns. I have 7 Edges and I don't think Fifita averages 10 points more than Brailey and can use the 200k to get Doorey or HSS out and keep the money production rolling. May as well take advantage of the bye.

Don't know if this was already posted or not. Get that Milf party thread going

The Dolphins have confirmed Sean O’Sullivan suffered a full tendon rupture of his pectoral muscle against the Broncos on Friday night.

The injury is set to require a rehab period of 12 to 16 weeks, meaning the halfback is unlikely to be back before the end of June.

Yeah same for me, Teddy is a priority for me in the next week or two. Might be other ways to make that happen but Fifita sitting there on a bye and having lots of edges makes it a viable option to move him I think. One I'll probably be pondering this week.

Wow, just checking scores etc. Anyone who jumped on Nico early is loving life. Operation "hope Hynes gets cheaper in two weeks" not going so well at the moment.

I had 936 overall. Garner and a few cheap outside backs letting things down. Teddy back in this week at least.

I think if I didn't have Cleary I'd be slightly tempted to force Nicho into my team somehow. But I don't think you NEED both at this stage of the season.

Coming back to this, this was NRL Physio's post:

AJ Brimson (hamstring) & Kieran Foran (calf) both won’t return for the Titans with soft tissue strains.
    - even minor hamstring strains usually min 2 weeks return, Brimson’s higher up = longer healing times
    - Foran has extensive history of lower limb soft tissue strains

Might be one of those annoying ones for Brimson where they say 2 weeks but it ends up being 4 or 5.

Campbell will be hard to go past at ~$420k if we know he gets say 4 weeks minimum, don't know if he will really fit into my team though

They don't have a game for two weeks though.

This I think is the best point.
Depends on team makeup how you approach Hynes, I for one don’t have Cleary so Hynes seems a lot more worth it to me. If I had the chin however I’d be much more inclined to wait it out.
I’m sitting in top 50 (pending updates) and want to keep the ball rolling. It’s been incredible that I’ve had in a month 2x30 something captains and sitting there so my thought process is to get a solid option in this week albeit to play roulette the next.
As they say, that’ll be next weeks problem, I think it should come with a disclaimer though…..
No whinging when he banners up this week!

979 for me. Ive got no way of bringing in Hynes. I need to find a better cash cow to replace BMM and a way of bringing in a ctr who can score over 30

    Similar to me

BMM and HSS are effectively 2 dead spots in the team right now. Need a cow to turn up to get some money generation going.

    Nice pick up!

I've send Fiona a message to get it sorted
either clarify that a 2 point Field Goal is worth 10 points (which isn't in the current rules) or adjust scoring.
